The Spa at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale — Local services in Fort Lauderdale

I never write reviews, but as an avid spa goer I was not impressed with the spa at the four seasons. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is very kind, but it is very small and the amenities are lacking. The steam room smelled like mildew and there was hair all over the hydro shower. I’ve also never been to a spa where they charge an extra $150 on top of what you are already paying for your service just to be able sit by the pool (that was completely empty). As for the service itself, my aesthetician was extremely nice but I felt like I was being upsold during the whole experience and found it hard to actually relax. I usually like to enjoy majority of my day at the spa, but I was eager to leave and felt like I wasted my money. It’s important to note that they don’t validate valet parking which is also something I’ve never experienced at any of the spas in south FL, so if you’re just going for the day it’s probably cheaper parking on the street. I personally will not write a bad review unless it was a disaster. The four seasons Bali, and then the new four seasons in Fort Lauderdale. Was just night snd day . Let’s just say the other four sessions I have been to are completely different than this one . Service was nice . Nothing over the top , when I stay at the four sessions I’m usually WOWED! This one is or I believe it is new to the area less then 10 years old . I would seek a different hotel if you’re seeking a high end luxury hotel . It was a business trip/ stay . The Spa at the Four Seasons Ft. Lauderdale is beautiful. My experience was not great. I made an appointment for a facial. I was told that my appointment was 11:45, and to arrive by 11:30. When I arrived, the woman at the spa desk told me my appointment was at 11:30, and that I was all ready late. She rushed me to the ladies locker room, and handed me over to another young lady. She then came back and said that she had changed my appointment to 11:45, so I did not have to rush. I did not receive any type of tour, what my spa appointment included, and was not shown how to access my locker. When my technician came out, she said I did not complete the spa questionnaire.
