It was great super fun. We booked the day of and the front desk was very helpful when booking the room. We started late unfortunately cause our group took long to arrive(our fault ofc). When in the room, you have about an hour to solve it(it costed 40.44). We did the seven deadly sins room with 7 people and didn’t even finish but it was a fun experience and when time was up, one of the workers came in and explained what would have happened if we finished completely. They said if we came back it would be 20% off. Overall great experience, love the guy at the front desk!! Everyone was super nice/hilarious and I would definitely come back again. Shoutout to our game host and master Juando:) The only thing i wish i knew before coming here/choosing a room is that we choose the second hardest room they had. We booked the room online and I did not see any indication that the room was the second hardest difficulty. Also i wish we had more time, an hour is not enough time in my opinion for that room😭

We played both Scooby Doo and 7 deadly sins while waiting for our flight. Both escape rooms were in the top 10% we’ve played world wide. Scooby Doo is bright, colourful, family friendly , and engaged all our senses with non stop action. 7 Deadly sins was a fun, challenging adventure, requiring extra hints to barely finish in the final minute. Both escape rooms were well thought out, interactive and highly recommended. Our game masters Max & Rico knew when we needed a nudge, and kept the games fun and fulfilling. Can’t wait to return to Florida for our next cruise- we will stop in to check out their other Escape Rooms! Team: LLAP (Live long and Prosper) from Canada!

Another awesome place to visit if you love escape rooms. My family recently went on vacation in Fort Lauderdale and we decided to try the Scooby Doo room at Escapology. The design of the room was super cute! The puzzles weren't super hard, and the room had a lot of stuff to find that kind of gave you directions on how to solve the puzzles. We were able to escape in 42 mins with 1 hint! I think this would be a great room for beginners! Overall I loved the experience, and the themed room aspect made it super fun and nostalgic! I wish we could have tried some of their other rooms while we were there, but at least I have a reason to come back to Fort Lauderdale.

My group and I went to do the "7 Deadly Sins" room at their Fort Lauderdale location on Sunday (Feb. 25) at 1:10 pm. We left at a reasonable time but Fort Lauderdale traffic was absolutely awful. As soon as we realized we'd be late due to traffic, we decided to call (before 1:10) to let them know. We called about 15 times from four different phones in the span of almost 10 minutes and nobody ever responded. At first, it dialed for a while but nobody picked up, after like the 5th try it just went straight to voicemail. Once we arrived, it was very confusing to find the place (you also have to pay to park at a parking garage to get to there). The person at the front, Diana, didn’t have the nicest attitude and when we asked why they weren’t picking up the phone, she said “ ‘Cause we were busy and we don’t have time to sit on the phones.” She gave us the option to do the room we booked but take away about 20 minutes from our time, do a different room, or come back at a different time. We agreed on just starting the room we booked with less time and have our other friends, who were parking, join us later; and even then, the person at the front said to another person “Go get [the room] it ready, they’re gonna do it,” implying the room wasn’t even set up for us beforehand. When we were brought inside the room for our intro, the TV wasn’t set up and the room was just pitch black until they were able to get the transmission to work. We were told we couldn’t touch anything in the room until the videos were over even though we had already watched the video on their website and it was super long (plus we just wanted to get started quick so we wouldn’t waste any more time). They were never able to get the countdown transmission to work so we never actually knew how much time we had left. Our game master, Kas, helped us with a few things but would immediately remove the hint even if we weren’t done figuring out what we had to do. We also asked her to update us on how much time we had left multiple times and I assume she wasn’t paying attention as we were only given it once (after asking for so long). Though it was fairly small, the room was decently decorated and wasn’t scary, just dark. We were given flashlights to use during the game and one of them died, we asked to if we could it replaced and they never came back with a new battery. We ended up getting out with 12 minutes left, not sure if that was with or without the time reduction. They did have some good promos if we wanted to come back but honestly, I doubt we will. In sum, the employees were extremely rude, the timer in the room never worked right and they never cared to tell us how much time we had left, and the room itself simply was not worth us coming back to do...

I did over 30 escspe room's and this place is hard to get too. You have to pay for parking reminder the place is 4 blocks from where you park. The staff was very bad like i said i did a lot of escape rooms and this staff was bad we booked a room at 5:50 and we was on are way and they called us and told us if we're 5 minutes late "its okay" so we walked in at 5:57 2 minutes late but dont forget what i said "he told us if we're 5 minutes late IT'S OKAY so they started are time at 5:50 and wouldn't put back 5 minutes because of a "big group" coming in and they would ruin there experience. But we was only asking to give us a other 5 minutes we was ready to go and everything in said the place but they didnt want to do that and the best part is the group that they was expecting didnt even show up they was expecting 15 people 4 only showed up we had to wait 2 and half hours the staff was horrible so we came back and waited in the place for 30 minutes for the room and when we was waiting there was a girl that worked there with blonde hair that called us "sour pusses" to the group that came in right im front of us. Very mean she offered the group of 4 that came in water and was very nice and friendly with them. With us she didnt even talk to us or give us water like she did for the group of 4 that came in and we was in there for 30 minutes and soon as the group of 4 came in she gave them water and talk to them and had a happy face with them but they was the group that was supposed to be 15 people but only 4 showed up the whole staff is very bad we asked for the manager number and they said they dont have it and the if you wanna do a fun escape room and that have nice and not cry face staff and they wont call you names like this escape room did because you was 2 minutes late go down the road to think escape you dont have to pay for parking and if you're 2 minutes late they wont make u wait 3 hour's and the staff is amazing. I wouldn never come back to this place just because of the staff while we was waiting the girl called us name and act the way she would act with other groups that gos for the whole staff very bad it made all 6 of us very upset of how the way they was acting with us. For really no reason. If i owned this escape room would forsure start looking for new staff .all 6 of us just isnt the ones talking about the staff go see there review's the staff made us feel so uncomfortable and upset we lost all fun and hype for the room if we could have got an are money back i would have just because...

We've done around 10 escape rooms over the years. We did the Scooby-Doo room on our vacation. The staff were pleasant and the room was interesting and well put together. We enjoyed the puzzles. Our issue and the reason for 2 stars is our game master "Juan" was not paying attention. We only know his name because during our introduction the host said "your gamemaster will be Juan be respectful to him and he will be respectful to you." That was an odd comment given to 2 adults and 3 kids but now it was clearly foreshadowing. I suspect Juan gets alot of criticism from guests. Either Juan was not making an effort to do his job or he is tasked with monitoring too many escape rooms at one time. That's for the company to decide. The problem we had is entirely correctable by management. I do not want to ruin the room for anyone so I will not be entirely clear. 10 minutes in we solved a knocking puzzle that clearly required a gamemaster to push a button for us to continue. We executed the correct sequence more than a dozen times, after 6 minutes of frustration (an eternity in an escape room) we asked for a clue and were given the answer not a hint and it was the exact operation we were just performing. We had to press the hint button to get the gamemaster to attend to us. Then a few puzzles later the same thing. We hold a red magnifying glass to a spot to get a message but it doesn't come. We now waste 10 minutes trying to get the gamemasters attention. Then they give us an answer not a hint. But that was only required because they didn't make the Scooby-Doo screen do its thing when we completed the puzzle. In addition requests for hints took about 2 minutes to be responded to. After losing 25% of our time to gamemaster inattention we left our room unsolved after 60 minutes. Perhaps the often booked room had malfunctions, even if that were the case its the gamemaster's responsibility to smooth out those issues that did not happen and we left with the only negative feelings we've ever had leaving an escape room. The location is great and room is impressive. correcting the issues we experienced...
