Wild Thyme Oceanside Eatery

I saw somebody in a Facebook group post the brunch board with rave reviews so I had to go! I made reservations for an early Sunday brunch. We arrived a little before our reservation and were promptly seated. The hostess was friendly and attentive. We knew what we came for- board for 2 and bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were good and a mini carafe was brought out with our first round. My critique would be that sitting outside the carafe can get warm if you're not chugging down mimosas so an ice bucket would have been a nice touch. Now for the board- it is Instagram worthy and undeniably a lot of food but somewhat disappointing in execution. I don't eat red meat or pork so my husband had the bacon, sausage, and burger sliders to himself. He said the sliders were pretty bad. The bacon and sausage were good. I picked the ham off the eggs Benedict and doctored it with salt and pepper- it was ok. The homestyle potatoes were delicious BUT the biggest mistake was that there was no care given on the placement of the board and they were touching a lot of the sweet fruit we were given. The fruit was insanely sweet and delicious but then when you got a piece with potato seasoning on it... YUCK! The pancakes were good as were the French toast pieces. I would give the board a 5/10. Service was really on point and hopefully the kitchen can catch up- at least where what seems to be the most ordered/pictured item is concerned.
