Vitolo Italian Restaurant – Where Flavor Meets Flair & an Energetic vibe that makes you feel alive!
If you’re in search of a high-end Italian dining experience with a lively, celebratory atmosphere, Vitolo—located inside the elegant Conrad Hotel 🏨 in Fort Lauderdale—will absolutely deliver. This is not your quiet 🤫 corner trattoria; it’s an immersive experience that brings modern Italian 🇮🇹 sophistication to life with style and spirit.
Upon entering, you’re greeted by beautifully designed interiors. A few steps down through arched ceiling walkways lead you to a warm and inviting dining room. Royal blue glass wall displays glow softly against warm lighting, striking a perfect balance between chic and cozy.
Service & Cocktails: The service at Vitolo is exceptional—attentive without being overbearing. The cocktail 🍹 program is thoughtfully crafted to pair with the richness of the cuisine. I opted for an espresso martini 🍸 that was both smooth and energizing, while my wife enjoyed her go-to Aperol Spritz 🍹 , executed with classic precision and a refreshing twist.
Culinary Intentions & Starters: The culinary philosophy at Vitolo seems to be rooted in elevating traditional Italian dishes while keeping them accessible, shareable, and deeply flavorful. Our table started with the cacio e pepe, a timeless Roman dish that was theatrically plated tableside. The pasta 🍜 , perfectly al dente, was gently bathed 🧽 in a creamy, pepper-forward sauce and finished with a luxurious shaving of truffles 🍄🟫 . It was rich, decadent, and shared as a perfect opener to the meal—clearly intended to showcase the harmony of simplicity and indulgence.
Main Courses: Each main course reflected a careful balance between technique and tradition. My wife and her friend chose the lemon 🍋 chicken 🐓 - lightly floured and pan-fried 🥘, served with crispy roasted potatoes 🥔 and a velvety lemon 🍋 sauce that complemented rather than overpowered. It was a bright, clean dish, designed to highlight the freshness of ingredients and balance richness with acidity.
My friend’s double-cut lamb 🐑 chops were a showstopper—beautifully grilled, seasoned with restraint, and plated with charred carrots 🥕 and asparagus that added smokiness and depth. The lamb 🐑 was tender and bursting with natural flavor.
As for me, I went with the signature chicken 🐔 parmigiana, a beloved classic that Vitolo does not shy away from embracing in full force. Pounded thin for a delicate bite, encrusted in golden breadcrumbs 🥖 , and topped with a silky tomato 🍅 sauce, it was bold and satisfying. The portion was generous—overflowing the plate in true Italian hospitality—and made for excellent leftovers. I added a side of sautéed mushrooms 🍄🟫 with peas 🫛 , a nod to rustic tradition with a pop of earthiness and texture that rounded out the dish.
Dessert: We couldn’t skip dessert, especially since we were celebrating my wife’s birthday 🎉 . We shared a beautifully presented cannoli and a creamy, coffee-kissed tiramisu. The cannoli was crisp on the outside with a velvety filling, while the tiramisu struck the ideal balance between light and luscious. With a sparkler 🎇 and a round of festive cheers, the evening ended on a sweet, celebratory note.
Final Thoughts: Vitolo captures the essence of Italian dining—warmth, vibrance, and a love for great food shared among friends. The culinary intention is clear: elevate the classics while creating an atmosphere that invites both indulgence and joy.
Highly recommended. Just don’t forget to get your parking 🅿️ validated if you’re using the hotel 🏨 valet 🚙 ....
Read moreWow, had an opportunity to dine at Vitolo's on Sunday with our friends - and it was simply AMAZING!
I reached out to Wilson, Manager and he kindly provided me a reservation at the time we wanted. Although my preference was in the kitchen area for an interactive experience, we ended up in their beautiful bar which was perfect after a fun day!
OMG, INCREDIBLE food served from the kitchen and service by the wonderful runners and our server/bartender Justin - thank you! We also met Chris, Bar and Floor Manager who took time out to talk with us and was genuinely interested in our feedback too. We had nothing but wonderful things to say, Vitolo's was our favorite meal of the week and we had many great ones too! Plus the bar is so attractive with some nice seating arrangements as well.
We shared a few plates. As per below, their Polpette (meatballs) are the BEST, our friends raved about them too! The Mozzarella en Carrozza (grilled mozzarella sandwich) was artfully prepared and served, also delicious! The Zucchine Fritti (zucchini strings) were to die for! The Caesar salad was elegant! The Margherita pizza was also something to talk about, from the homemade chewy crust to their tasty sauce and cheese combo, pizza is a must try here! Wine choices were enjoyed as well! LOL, have our eye on the Parmesan's for our next visit!
We were so full yet could not resist the piece of their Italian cheesecake to share that did not disappoint! Thank you Wilson for your special touch, very kind of you and truly appreciated!
My son is coming in over the weekend for a few days and Vitolo's is #1 on our list to include in our dining plans!
Can't wait to return...thank you to the entire team at Vitolo's, from the reservation stand, chef, kitchen staff, runners, waitstaff, bartenders and managers - BRAVO on the amazing job you all do! Thank you all again!
Thank you Chef Anthony for preparing your amazing meatballs and serving them at the Seaglass charity event, Rose All Day today on Fort Lauderdale Beach! They are simply the best! My husband is Italian and very particular about meatballs, he LOVED them!
A special thanks to Henry, the GM for kindly serving us today and proudly giving us a grand tour last week as we we passing by! The restaurant is simply impressive, love Henry's passion about the venue and menu, we can't wait to dine there sometime this coming week when our friends come in!

Read moreNot our first time dining at Vitolo and certainly will not be our last. From the moment you are greeted by the hostess to being sat at your table and being waited on by the most professional staff imaginable, dressed in old school New York Italian uniforms with bow ties and suspenders, you know you're in for a very special night. Vitolo is such a fantastic addition to the Conrad on Fort Lauderdale Beach. We were here for our anniversary and our anniversary dinner did not disappoint. We had the Polpette with Truffled Ricotta, and a Mista salad to start, as well as rustic bread served with olive oil and herbs. For our main course I had a Filet Mignon special that is probably the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. It was served on top of the potato croquette topped with exotic mushrooms and a red wine demiglace, with roasted asparagus and multicolored carrots and was absolutely perfectly cooked to order. This was a special on this particular night, and I am so glad that I chose it. It was perfection. My husband always gets the Chicken Parm, which could probably feed about four people, lol, So be prepared to take some home with you if you aren't sharing it. We also ordered a side of Caccio e Pepe with shaved truffles, IFYKYN, which is not normally on the regular menu, But they accommodated our request. If they will make it for you, I would highly recommend. It is better than what I was served in Rome. For dessert we had tiramisu which is also some of the best tiramisu I've ever had as much as tiramisu has been overdone theirs is perfect. For drinks my husband stuck to beer but I had the Taylor Spritz, which I would also highly recommend and a really good Limoncello after my meal. Best Italian food in the greater Miami area and highly recommend. Also having Owner/Chef Anthony Vitolo check on our table was lovely. ...
