This hotel is excellent. Would stay again right away. In the heart of everything but quieter section of FL beach. ||We’ve stayed at several of the higher end Hiltons in Fort Lauderdale and this is our favorite. |Diplomat= terrible service and rooms are just ok, it’s a conference hotel - noisy there- and weird spot on busy street |Maren=gorgeous and great service - overlooks grungy spot on one side though |Conrad= these rooms are larger and the hotel is beautiful. High end restaurants with great food. Awesome beach location across street with loungers water and umbrellas and a drink shack. ||Service= everyone was so nice - front desk was pleasant and thorough with explanation. ||The housekeeping and night turndown staff was fantastic. The room was always in great shape with extra towels, amenities, chocolates for turn down, fresh waters. ||Quality- room is beautiful and you have sitting area and kitchen area and large bedroom and bathroom. |The junior studio is great and eligible for points stays. It’s got partial ocean view and not directly across from elevator. The one bedrooms you can book with points are only floors 6-8 (limited view) so they are on same floor as pool gym spa and look at other buildings. |We stayed in 1711. It’s a cool room. High enough to hear nothing from the street noise or pool and a couple doors away from the elevator. |We overlooked the pool side so it was nice to check if any loungers were open. We slept well with comfy bed and pillows. Rooms don’t cool below 65 so it was a little warm for us from up north who sleep in 60 degree rooms. ||Speaking of the pool- the guy there doing towels and set up was great. Ran right over with towels and set us up. Made sure we had water too. |We also ate at the bar and I cannot recommend the Terra bowl enough. I eat a lot of high end meals and this was so good and fresh. The bartenders were also nice. ||The restaurants- Takado- wow. This restaurant was my favorite out of the ones we ate at. And the service was great. ||Vitolo- new concept from NY chefs. It was good but if you’re Italian, you might find it acceptable. Very tough crowd for Italian food. We liked it. |The gym at the hotel was nice and has 3 peloton. |I already can’t wait to come back. Also Valet was quick. If you texted them car was ready. |There was also a cute smoothie Açaí bowl place behind the hotel over to the right towards the north. It was across from a busy bakery. There were so many super cute eateries behind the hotel- we definitely had our pick of tasty food. ||The hotel is not cheap but you feel like you’re on vacation at a 5 star resort. You don’t need a car- you can do beach and pool- you can walk around and eat and shop no problem. Cannot wait...
Read more7Days I’m not sure where to start to be quite honest! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION This hotel is located steps away from the ocean front! It is convenient and nice when you’re eager to get there and tired when you just want to get back (to the hotel). It’s also great being this close to the beach because when you’re in the hotel, you can open up a/the door and hear those waves sliding across the sand! There are plenty of shops/stores/restaurants/malls/etc around so you don’t have to go far if need be! The hotel have two restaurants on sight and a few bars scattered here and there. We ate breakfast 6 mornings at the hotel (be mindful it’s not “free” unless you have the breakfast vouchers) and it wasn’t bad! The hotel obtains 24 floors I believe and on the sixth floor there is a sky deck that have a bar, corn hole, jumbo jinga, a pool and PLENTY of seating with music playing softly in the background. No worries about which towel to bring, they supply you with that at the pool and beach! You can also order food at the pool side or at the bar!!! They have valet parking on sight to ease your mind of WHERE TO PARK because it’s not much parking on the beach front, I mean it IS the beach front!!! The valet is quick and easy when you’re ready to get up and go but I’d try to call ahead before going down so you can just get in and go!!! 5!!!!! THE ROOMs We were located on the Twentieth floor both times and on opposite ends so we got the best of both views!!! The first room was a one bedroom one and a half bath. The tub was amazing, you can sit in it and barely see over it (depending on how tall you are). The shower felt great but nothing special and there is a his and hers sink. In the living room there was a let out couch a desk and a tv; A WHITE COUCH (kids). There is a full fridge with freezer, stove, coffee maker, dishwasher and dishes. Room two have Everything that room one have except a better view, two rooms, two full bathrooms a dining table (out side on patio), a wine cooler box and a bigger patio but in the two bedroom (that we had) it was two patios!!! The house keepers come around two times a day and do what need be if you allow. Our house keeper tried to do EVERYTHING all the way down to washing the dishes for us (I told her she didn’t have to though, that was a bit much (to me)).. I’m sure I’m leaving SO much out (I’ll update as I remember) but this place is a great vacation spot! The staff is great! (Some...
Read moreWe stayed at this Conrad before a cruise. We were going to be leaving out of the Fort Lauderdale port. I found the location to be convenient to the airport and to the port. We were lucky to be able to check in early as Diamond Hilton members. Our plane was pretty early and we were exhausted so this was great. I found the front desk was very helpful, but there were only two people and there was a line when we first arrived. I did not see much staff the entire visit, which was only a day so it seemed a little not busy/slow. We went to the pool that evening and it was a nice area, but it closes at dusk. There was a nice little game area where you could play cornhole, connect 4 type yard games. The pool was decent but right next to rooms so if you were out there, anyone coming out could to see you. There wasn’t anyone out there as well. I didn’t like the food selections in the hotel. You had just the Asian fusion restaurant and then a fine Italian. We wanted something like just regular American or seafood. The restaurants do not have kid friendly menu options which is really strange. We ate at the Asian fusion restaurant across the court for breakfast and to me it wasn’t very good. My eggs had a funny taste. The bacon had no taste, and the potatoes were just greasy. So I’m not sure how people could say the breakfast was so delicious. Given what it was, it was kind of expensive as well. We were able to use our Hilton Diamond credit for the breakfast. Our room was nice and spacious. We received an upgrade to a suite. I felt like the room itself was a little dark and looked older. I saw pictures prior to coming here and it was hard to figure out what the rooms really look like because they looked dated. They looked a little bit dated, but better in person than the photos allow. The room was clean and we had good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. I usually like Conrads and not that I had a bad stay, but I’m just wondering if the Hilton or any of the other surrounding properties are better. I sort of felt like this Conrad wasn’t up to the normal standard being modern, new and a luxury brand. Again, it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t special and I sort of have grown to expect special from Conrad. Since I didn’t really like the food options, we went to coconuts for dinner and had to take a Uber. So it was a pleasant enough stay, but I will probably explore other hotel options when returning to this port...
