We celebrated our wedding last 25th of Feb in Tiki Sunset Retreat House. It was the perfect wedding experience for us together with our family and friends. We are from Ireland and we found this place online and met Bridgette last December 2022. It was a very challenging experience for me as a bride arranging my wedding abroad. My husband and I always planned a beach Floridian wedding. However when we made inquiries - it’s very commercialised and expensive considering we are working on a certain budget. As a couple what we wanted for a wedding celebration is a casual/relaxed experience. When we met Bridgette - she was so nice and considerate with our budget. She made everything nice base on what we are willing to spend. As a couple we would like to spend more on food, experience, entertainment and drinks ( 🍹open bar). When we arrived at the venue - I was overwhelmed how beautiful the place - the decorations/ the arrangement / everything….. I was speechless!!! Brigette is a perfect example of what a coordinator should be…. She’s amazing in a lot of ways. My husband and I were looking for a way to connect with other couples and strengthen our marriage. We came across the Tiki Sunset Retreat- Couples Retreat. It was an opportunity to vacation in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, as well as to participate in couples therapy. Dr. Tasha, our therapist, was amazing at listening and identifying underlying issues with all the couples. Speaking of couples - from the beginning, there was an instant connection between all 6 couples who were there to work on their marriages. We played interactive games, did morning yoga, ate together, cried together, and encouraged each other. By the end of the trip, we left as family. Our hotel room had an ocean view, which was beautiful at night. There were also two restaurants on site that offered breakfast, lunch and dinner options with hearty portions. Last, but most importantly, Ms. Brigette - from my initial contact, was very comfortable to talk to. As we prepared for our trip, she calmed our anxiety as she was comforting and accommodating to ensure our arrival would be perfect.
