Club Pilates — Local services in Fort Worth

I’m not going to lie I was completely skeptical about doing Pilates and I only went because my sister got me a gift card. The gift card covered 1 month of unlimited classes. I’m absolutely sold on Club Pilates!! I’m 54 years old and struggling with all sorts of issues that women get to deal with at my age. My goal was making my body better for the rest of my life. I cannot tell you how much better I feel within just 1 month! I have only been to the Fort Worth location and every instructor is fantastic! I go to a lot of instructors at different times so I get to experience everyone’s unique styles and I love them all. When I walk into Club Pilates I do not feel intimidated or out of place. It’s a very peaceful place but you get a workout for sure. There are people all different ages men and women that go. The instructors and everyone else that are doing the classes are very helpful especially since I had never done Pilates! I definitely gave my sister a big thank you for my gift . I’m a member here and the classes are great and I love the teachers. The rules are fair and I understand the cancellation policy. I had a family emergency and had tried to reschedule but no classes had open spots so they said they’d waive it for me which was nice at the time. However, I was in the ER and had a class scheduled I wasn’t able to cancel within the time frame. I called and explained my situation and the class wasn’t waived even though I told them the situation. I was initially trying to switch to a stretch class to try and avoid cancelling but they said they couldn’t because there weren’t any with open spots. They notified me all I could do was cancel which means I’m going to be charged. I’m pretty disappointed this is how the situation was handled given that I was literally in the hospital less than twelve hours ago. I feel there should be a policy in place for this especially if you have a note from a doctor or hospital you’re willing to provide.
