This Chicken Salad Chick has the rudest staff I have encountered at a restaurant in a long, long time. There conduct was so OBTUSE and REPREHENSIBLE I had to do this review immediately upon getting home. I am a retired senior citizen, and I have always enjoyed the food here at the Presidio Station location but after tonight it would take an Angelic Command from Heaven to get me to come back. It was 7:55 and I arrived at the location and I observed through the glass that there was a customer at the counter. As I was getting out of my vehicle and was attempting to walk in, I observed one of female staff members running over to the door and locked it just before I grabbed the door handle to open the door. In shock, I knocked on the door but the girl ignored me. Then while the other customer was walking away from the counter, as they began to walk to the other door, I noticed the same staff member run to that door and was holding the door open for the customer. Being rather slow as a result of a stroke I suffered, I tried to get to the other door while it was open, only to have her lock it, as I was about 3-5 feet from the door. I knocked on the glass in an attempt to talk to someone and stood there aghast at being treated so rudely for about three (3) minutes before finally this one girl came over. In a very curt voice, she yelled at me "We closed at 8!" I pulled out my cellphone and the time read 8:01 so they had definitely closed the store early. She totally dismissed anything I had to say and she shut the door in my face, locked it and as I tried to talk to her in a civil manner, she refused to listen to me, when I asked why the employee ran to lock the door as I was walking up, with another customer at the front counter. And when I asked for the name of the store owner she mumbled something and walked away. I can't remember the last time anyone refused service to a customer before the place was to actually close. I know to others, this might seem like a trivial issue, but I was deeply offended by the way these girls acted. I thought with all that was going on with the pandemic, businesses would not want to turn anyone away. Especially when they are at the door, getting ready to open it, and a employee runs over and kicks dirt in your face. When I got back in my car after being treated so shabbily, I got back in my car,, google the name and phone number of the store and called the store phone at 8:07. A store employee answered and I said I was about 10 minutes away could I "still get a Sassy Scotty" and she said, "If you were just around the corner, I would say come on, but being 10 minutes away, we will be "closed by the time you get here!" Read moreI spent 15 minutes trying to get my order placed by a new employee. She began to get frustrated and so did I but the other two employees including Josh didn’t care did not offer to help the new employee. I wanted one order for here and two to go and they couldn’t figure out how to do that. Finally I just gave up and said since you guys can’t figure it out just make it all to go and I’ll just sit here and eat it. After waiting a long time they finally brought out the food in to go boxes without labels. We got three different types of scoops and none of them are labeled for us to tell which one was which when They looked the same. When I asked the man Josh how am I supposed to know the difference he said for me to just dig through it and look for the ingredients. When this wasn’t even my food to be digging through because it was for someone else to go. He then just walked away from me when I ask is there not another way to figure it out and he said well I don’t know and just walked away and I have a video of him doing this. While he was ignoring me I said hello are you just going to walk away and not help me out? Then the other girl that was working came over and said the scoops both look like the same so long story short they got my order wrong after spending 15 minutes placing it. I asked for the manager and she was so rude and not helpful. She said OK I’ll just get you another one and I suggested that she should be in the front helping the new staff because it’s not fair to the new woman who can’t understand with no one helping. She too then just ignored me and walked away. I understand that it’s busy but you can take a second to fix a wrong order and help a new employee out. Read moreBeen to many CSC across the country. This was by far the worst location of all we've visited. We arrived about 12:50... some what of a line. Immediately noticed that the majority of tables were dirty. Calling the cashier gruff would be a compliment. Half of the menu was unavailable. Ordered and sat. We waited what seemed and unusually long time. Finally decided something was wrong when people that came in after us and ordered at counter got their food before us. Went back up to counter and before I could say anything she said " are you order 42... the printer didn't print your order it'll be out soon". Food was delivered by a more pleasant individual... but no apology for the delay. Food was not the quality that we've experienced at other locations. General appearance of restaurant is unsatisfactory. These places are typically neat and tidy. Whole place needs a freshening up. Rug in front of soda area was disgusting. Wall going to restroom clearly had some damage and bowing out. Women's restroom soap dispenser ripped off wall and sitting on paper towel dispenser. Trash was over flowing... watched two employees jam it down versus empty. Will not be back to this location.
UPDATE I provided my email to company per request and did not receive a response. Appears to "make it right" on their reply...hasn't as of yet.
UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS UPDATE Was emailed by owner, wanted to verify my CSC account, stated they would give us a free meal. Nothing. Clearly says all the right things, but doesn't follow up. Will not go back to this CSC.
