Third time at this store and every time the employees at the front are RUDE. First time the guy seemed super annoyed that I had a question and acted as if I was in his way. The second time they were rude to my grandma who’s been a member for God knows how long simply because she had a couple of questions. And the third time I was instacart shopping for a customer and they made me super uncomfortable when I made it up to the front. A lady just randomly singled me and my brother out and before asking to see our membership she randomly just stared at us for a good 10 seconds face to face before asking. Then proceeded to say oh okay when I told her I was shopping for a customer. Then she looked around and asked two other people but it felt more like she was trying to make it seem like she didn’t just single us out. Then my brother started putting things on the belt to check out just like the lady in front of us did who had some of the same and or similar items, which none of what we had in the cart was heavy at all. And some lady comes over doesn’t make eye contact or even speak to us and starts taking things off the belt and we said oh I’m sorry and then asked if this item could go on the belt which she didn’t look at us or even answer so my brother and I just looked at each other because we didn’t do anything wrong. So then as I’m waiting for them to scan everything the other lady who’s cashing people out looks at me and I’m still smiling even though I feel uncomfortable and she says can I help you? And I said I’m just waiting to cash out then she proceeded to say no like what are you who are door dash instacart what? And then I said instacart. And honestly the rest of the process was just uncomfortable and now one even spoke to us as we were leaving not even a have a good day. Third time with horrible customer service at least at the front of the store. People in the...
Read moreTried this Costco today and had a terrible experience. I’ve been shopping at Costco for almost 20 years but went to this location instead of my usual one since I was in the area. I had my 3 kids with me (2 in the cart and 1 walking next to it). We stopped for a couple samples as that is the highlight of the Costco shopping trips but the lady sampling macaroons was the rudest person I’ve encountered at a Costco. She would only put 1 little sample cup out at a time and my kids wanted to try a bite to see if they like them before we bought a pack. I had to take one cup and hand it to a kid then go back for another then another (I didn’t take one for myself since I know what they taste like). I wasn’t even done handing my third child her paper cup before the lady YELLED “you’re welcome!!” Then told the lady standing next to me how rude we were. I didn’t even have the chance to say thank you yet as I was handing my kids the sample and trying to stay out of peoples way and not block the isle. They had thanked the other 2 ladies we got samples from earlier in our trip and the popsicle lady even told them how sweet they were. This lady just seems very bitter for some reason. I decided to just go check out and leave after that encounter. While standing in line the cashier was giving the lady in front of me a hard time about her order because she was an instacart shopper and wanted to keep her 2 orders separate so she left a couple smaller items in the cart instead of putting them up on the belt. They were rude to her and brought a manager over to deal with her than proceeded to talk about her in front of me after she left. Then while leaving the person at the door was complaining about her job to another employee. I don’t know what’s going on at this Costco but the employees don’t seem very happy and don’t act very professional. I’ve never had any issues shopping at other...
Read moreDear Costco Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit to your store's concession area. As a loyal Costco member, I have always appreciated the convenience and quality of your products and services. However, during my last visit ,I encountered several issues that greatly impacted my overall experience.
Firstly, I was dismayed by the poor selection of food items that were out of stock. Despite the high demand, many essential items were unavailable, severely limiting my options and leaving me unsatisfied with my meal choices. This lack of inventory management reflects poorly on the store's efficiency and customer satisfaction efforts.
Furthermore, I must address the appalling cleanliness of the dining area. The tables were visibly dirty, littered with crumbs and spills from previous patrons. It was evident that proper sanitation protocols were not being upheld, creating an unhygienic environment for customers to enjoy their meals.
Additionally, I observed several employees standing around idly, seemingly unengaged and unproductive. This lack of initiative and attentiveness further contributed to the subpar experience, as it gave the impression of indifference towards customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
As a paying member of Costco, I expect a higher standard of service and cleanliness. These issues not only detract from the overall enjoyment of visiting your store but also reflect poorly on the Costco brand as a whole. I urge you to take immediate action to address these concerns and implement measures to ensure that such lapses in quality and service are not repeated in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to rectify these issues and uphold the reputation of Costco as a leader in the retail industry.
Sincerely, Your...
