If I could possibly give negative stars, I'd DO IT! I donāt think I could despise a company more than I do this one! Let me start from where it all began.. I have purchased many market umbrellas from Garden Ridge/At Home over the years, but this past year, the quality has been marginal, at BEST! Iāve exchanged 5 umbrellas due to faulty this and that, mind you, WITH my receipt, all within 30 ā 60 days. The last one, I attempted to exchange, but instead of going thru customer service, I asked for a manager, I wanted to explain what was going on with the umbrellas and thought he might want to know what it going out the door?? NOPE⦠not only did he not care, but I was unable to exchange the defective umbrella.. I left, with my defective umbrella SWEARING never to return!! Queue up a year and a half later, new store, at Alliance, right down the street.. My first thought was āIām never going into that store!āā¦. Well, an extension to the porch has been made, outdoor furniture is needed right!??! Ugh, so begrudgingly, I fall into the new store.. MUST be FULL of new employees that hare happy to be employed?!? Well, maybe not Cynthia/Cindy/whatever, the redheaded, āmanagerā. She doesnāt have a clue about customer service and isnāt interested. So, after choosing a table, bench, two chairs and then one armchair I wasnāt able to find a mate for. Iām met with, letās just call her Cynthia for laughs and giggles. I state humorously āHI!!! Iām begging!?!? Please tell me you have another chair like this somewhere?ā .. I got, and I quote āwhere would you like me to pull it out of??ā and Iād take that, if she were grinning or even smiling for that matter.. I have a sense of humor that lasts for miles!! Not Cynthia.. And really?? THIS is your response?? Come to find out, YOUāRE A MANAGER!?!?!? She proceeds to tell me after Iāve asked if she is able to look for an identical chair at another store that she canNOT(ok, will not) and that I can take pictures of said chair and sheād supply me with numbers for ALL their storesā¦(sheās playing off of my āreally? What the heck look!!) Well, yeeeeeehaw! I CANāT WAIT! Nope, you just burned bridge number 2, I will not ever come back for bridge number 3 and I will continue to NEGATIVELY bash your store, website that doesnāt sell ANYTHING and your highly suspicious absent customer service complaint line.. There, Iāve given you 15 more minutes of my time, but hopefully someone (EVERYONE) will see this before they step foot in your FLEA MARKET! Note worthy, this will also be on display on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube!! TWO WORDS YOU IMBECILES!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI agree with some other comments about the curbside pickup, it is a deceiving practice what they do on their website. You go online, find your product, purchase it, they even make you believe you are paying for it. Then they give you instructions to text a number before heading to the store and then text again once you are at the store parking lot. Once you get there you see there is a sign "no curbside pickup, store is open". You go inside and you have to get in line, no option to pickup online orders no a different spot. Then by the time they look at your order, someone arrives with your item and you have to pay for it at the register because the transaction you made online was just to hold the item. Why would you have to enter your credit card information into that site then? I believe the whole process actually makes you be inside of the store for a longer time and interact with more people than you would actually have with a regular in-store purchase. Again, since they make you believe you are ordering something online and you are just picking up your item and that actually never happens that deserves one star. Today Patty went above and beyond customer service. I am one who cannot wear a mask because they make it extremely difficult for me to breathe. I have needed to exchange a barstool for a while but with the mandatory mask in place I havenāt been able to. Today I was going to be in the area and felt led to bring the barstool that needed to be replaced. I called first before I headed that way and first encountered Patty. She was working at the front of the store when she took my call. While the computer said there were none in stock she walked all the way to the back of the store to see with her own eyes. She found two! She brought one up and then when I got there had me call her. I had my email receipt to verify my purchase and made the swap! And I never had to put on a mask! I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am for her help and kindness! We even had a sweet conversation about what it means to minister and help others I would give Patty 10 stars for being the kind of person who recognizes there is joy in serving people with a happy heart!
