The CSR Laura opened the men's cologne display to get me the Burberry Touch 100ml bottle and Azzaro sport bottle, but instead of giving them to me to check out, she had to take it to the front check out area to check out when I am ready to check out the rest of my other things per their policy. So when I went to the check out counter to ask for the 2 cologne to check out, they brought the Azzaro sport and an incorrect 50mL bottle of Burberry Touch. They CSR confirmed that another cashier had accidently checked out my 100mL bottler to another customer who "pointed to that 100mL Burberry Touch" bottle behind the counter as theirs in which that CSR did not verify that customer's name on the one that actually belonged to that customer. The CSRs could not find another 100mL bottle. So I had ask for a manager to help resolve the situation but all she said was she can offer 10% off the 50mL bottle that was priced at $29.99. I said I had chosen the 100mL bottle that was $39.99, so it is reasonable that I if they can sell me 2 of the 50mL bottle for the price of $39.99 total which will equal the 100mL that I had originally picked out costing $39.99, and it was their mistake/ fault for giving another customer my picked out 100mL . The manager said she could not do that. I said that their policy/ procedure for placing the picked out cologne behind the check out area for a customer is flawed for this reason. Any customer can point behind the counter and say that belongs to them when it does not and if the cashier does not verify properly, this will happen. It seems like this store will not own up to their mistake or provide a customer service...
Read moreHorrible customer service. I bought some items at this store and one of them broke me out. I tried to return them (i had the receipt and was only a week after the purchase) and called the store to check the closing time. The lady that i spoke with, I think her name was Beth, was very rude. I explained that the item made me break out. She told me that they were not responsible and that she was going to make an exception and return the item this time, but next time "you know." I never had any problems at any other store when returning an item, especially while having a receipt and within the 30 days period. Even store credit would have been fine, but this lady made me feet as if I were doing something wrong and just wanted to get some money. Maybe that's the policy at this particular store, but they for sure didn't make it clear at the time of the transaction. Just the way she spoke to me made me very uncomfortable. If her approach would have been different, I wouldn't be writing this review. That same night i spoke to Ashley from the Hurst store and it was a complete 180. She was very kind and nice and let me know that if I wasn't happy with an item I should feel free to return it. Read moreIf I could give this store zero stars for customer service I would. I bought a purse at this store a few weeks ago for a biz trip and ended up not taking it. Took it back today with receipt in hand/still in bag (and bought several other new items while I was there) When I went to check out and return the item, the manager said he would not take it back because the item did not "match" the description of what I bought. I told him I did not understand what he meant. (my original receipt for the purse said "accessories") He told me I switched the tags and the purse was not from that store. I told him I had no idea what he is talking about, because that's the tag that was on it when I purchased it and same as is on the receipt. Then he accused me again of switching tags. I asked for another higher "manager" and he said he is the end of the line and makes final decisions. I raised my voice a little and told him this was completely unacceptable and that if it was mis-tagged when I purchased by their employees that was not my fault, that I paid what was on my receipt (by the way, the receipt and tag on the purse matched) Anyways, what an insult. He did end up taking it back after I argued with him, but he sternly told me "You will never do this again in this store" TWICE....UNBELIEVABLE!!!
