I know most would write a great review for Chick-fil-A, their restaurants are normally fantastic and provide great customer service. This experience was a bit of a shock to me as I've never encountered this issue with any Chick-fil-A restaurant. Tonight we asked for "a spicy southwest salad, no cheese and no chicken with a small side of fries and 2 large sweet teas." As the associate took our order no issues were presented, and we proceeded in the quickly moving line to the window. When we got to the window two associates were standing at it, and one told the other "ok, you tell him". The nominated associate then said to me that they could not take the cheese off the salad. I asked him "Why" and he said "Thats just what they said." So I asked, "Who said that?" He proceeded to tell me "The guys in the back." The line was long so I didn't press him to much on the issue, but we did cancel our order for the salad and fries, took our teas. The associate wasn't rude, and I won't assume he was being smug, albeit that was our initial perception. We thanked him and he said "My pleasure." and we went on our way. Now, we've gone to the Chick-fil-A in Weatherford, and the one near Alta Mere and numerous others, and my vegetarian wife has always ordered the same thing. We've never been told they couldn't remove the cheese. It was just at this one Chick-fil-A off Bryant Irvin that we were first told they couldn't do it. This will very likely be the last time we go to this one, as their unwillingness and quite frankly, lack of caring to provide a resolution showed us a side of Chick-fil-A that we haven't seen before. We'll keep going to the other locations, but something as simple as "No cheese" shouldn't ever be an issue in a business that harps on and is known for their great customer service.
On the bright side, our drinks were great but we were still hungry. So, we stopped by the Jimmy Johns right down the road and got exactly what we wanted with no issues and had a great experience with the...
Read moreYou’ll find better service at a Waffle House than you will at this location. I placed an order here today for $18.00 and some change via the Chic Fil A mobile app. The line was crazy long of course but I did opt to go through the drive thru as suggested on a paper sign on the door when you place an order on the app. I got to the window and there was a girl, shoulder length hair, glasses, Hispanic, kinda younger that took my information for my order. She asked me to pay the amount again in which I showed her my receipt and she said that my payment didn’t go through. She then went to get her manager, another Hispanic lady, older, kinda short, blonde and brunette hair. This manager came to the window and very loudly stated “You don’t have money” “Your card declined” so loud in fact that people in the restaurant and other cars were staring at me. I said one sec, I’ll pull into a parking spot and call my bank. She said “No your card is empty” but I pulled away anyway to prevent being charged twice. After verifying, the charge had indeed come off of my card and I got back in the long line. I got to the speaker box where I was forced to repeat A C four times before I suggested pulling to the window. I used acronyms like Apple Cherry but was still greeted with laughter and “Huh” “Repeat that” I got to the window and the same girl then tried to charge me an extra dollar in which I showed her my receipt again. She responded with “Oh you’re that girl, hold on” She and the manager then begin speaking Spanish about me, although they were speaking perfect English prior. I again showed her my receipt and the app where the order had disappeared under transaction history. She gave me half of my order and shooed me away by ignoring me. I asked for the corporate number and their names as no one is wearing name tags. She refused and told me I don’t want to give you my name but then said her name was Ash and her managers name was Johanna. I drove away,...
Read moreA couple weeks ago I visited this location where I encountered an employee who had a mad face and lacked customer service. The credit card machine was not working for second, and I asked him for assistance then was responded to with attitude saying "just look at what the screen says." He still looked unhappy when my milkshake was given to me and did not say a word to me when I was given the drink. This behavior is unacceptable and does not give a good impression of this specific location. Later on, I passed this incident on to corporate and then waited a few days until I was contacted. I was never contacted, so I personally called and spoke to two different managers. The first manager explained that she didn't know anything about the report, but mentioned that she spoke to her employee. I realized she was lying because if she knew nothing about the case, then why should she have spoken to the employee? Secondly, the other manager I spoke to within the same call explained that her employee was having allergy issues and that he was not feeling well due to the medication that was prescribed to him. Apparently, this was her valid reason as to why I was treated horribly that day. I politely explained that this was unacceptable behavior and no excuse for me to have been treated that way. From then on, she rudely replied saying that she spoke to her employee already and that the issue had been resolved. I called into corporate to report these two managers and recently called the operations manager to follow up on the situation. Unfortunately, the case will never be handled because the reports will be given to the same manager who failed to properly square away the issue. Will never be going back to...
