I used to throw money at this place. Business has seemed to get a bit sloppy in recent years, however. There have been issues with confirming rentals, ensuring the correct size is available, and general communication gaffes.
Update The experience at the Alliance location continues to decline. In trying to reserve a tux for my 6 year old for an upcoming wedding, our deposit was applied to a completely different order, but they at least applied a discount to our bill to make up the difference. When it was time to pick up the rental, I entered a nearly empty store with my son to make sure the tux fit. There was no one on the floor, no one behind the registers, no one in the tailor section, and only two other customers. I proceeded to the rental area to pick up the tux, but again there was no one around. Eventually, some of the employees came out of the back room, but even then, no one acknowledged our presence or even asked if we had been helped or what we needed. We waited for 25 minutes before someone finally asked if we needed something, despite me several employees walking by us several times and making eye contact, but not addressing us. After stating that we needed to pick up a rental and to try it on, they said they'd go get the tailor to help us and then disappeared into the back room. Another 15 minutes went by with other customers being assisted and us seemingly being ignored. The person that initially asked if we'd been helped came back around and again asked if we'd been helped yet. I said we had not and repeated why we were there. Only then were we helped. During that time we waited, other customers that either needed to return rentals or needed to be seen were similarly passed by and simply walked out after waiting for a while. Since our event is only three days away, we didn't have that option and were basically at the mercy of their time.
I understand that the pandemic has shifted dynamics in the retail industry and while the physical store may not be very busy, there's a lot happening behind the scenes. The problem I have with my overall experience is how many people just seemed to ignore us or just not notice we were there, despite there being very few customers present. I always try to empathize with the employees with how slammed they can be. But make an effort to acknowledge the people standing literally in front of you to make sure they're doing okay, or assure them that their time and business is important. There was zero effort to make that connection by any of the staff present, and there were four different workers that walked past me and made eye contact without saying a word during that 40 minute waiting period. I will not be returning to this location for any future tux or suit needs. And now I feel...
Read moreOverall had a very bad experience here and I wouldnât recommend coming here unless itâs your last resort. As others have mentioned, when you show up you are advised to sign in on a piece of paper with your nameâŚwe waited around over an hour and our name wasnât called. When I checked the sheet they had just skipped my name and several others, and decided to just start calling names halfway down the listâŚhow professional. We had to notify an employee they were skipping us and several others before we finally were seen.
Itâs hard to tell who is an employee or just a kid getting their suit fitted considering half the staff isnât wearing suits or any real distinguishing clothing. Anyways, my issue is with the fact that I placed a reservation for a tux for my wedding and they submitted the measurements entirely wrong!
Long story short I came in November and got my measurements incase there were any Black Friday deals. There wasnât anything good so we left empty handed. I came back to this store in early March because I was now ready to reserve my tux for my April wedding. I figured my weight may have fluctuated and asked to be measured again. They took my measurements that day, gave me a printout with my new measurements, and then I paid the associate for my rental reservation with those new measurementsâŚor so I thought. For some reason the person checking me out (who was the very same person who had just taken my measurements) placed my rental suit reservation using the measurements from last NovemberâŚThe crazy thing to me is when I arrived and told them I had previously âbuilt a lookâ they couldnât retrieve my previous info, so they advised I would have to start from scratch that dayâŚyet somehow they managed to book my rental under this info that supposedly âdidnât existââŚ
You guys had one job and couldnât even fulfill it. As if wedding planning isnât stressful enough, this experience only added more stress to my plate. I am not looking forward to coming back to pick up my suit and having to wait another hour for someone to see me after I write my name on their lame sign in sheet. Itâs 2025 guys! Give us a mobile waitlist option at least! Super lame experience and Iâm glad I didnât have the rest of my groomsmen get their suits here because then I wouldâve been worried about them getting the right stuff. Maybe Menâs Wearhouse is okay, I went to another location and had a much better experience, but this location...

From the moment I walked into the Menâs Wearhouse, I knew I wasnât just there to buy a suit â I was stepping into something sacred. I was on a mission to find what I can only describe as âmy armorâ â not just fabric and thread, but a look that would carry the weight of everything Iâve been through and everything Iâm about to walk into.
The store was busy when I arrived, but I wasnât rushed. I took my time walking through the jackets, letting my spirit guide me â and then I saw it. The perfect jacket. A 46 Regular (Iâm 5â7â with a lean 195lb build), and while a Short wouldâve technically fit better, the slight length felt right, almost vintage, like it was meant to be â honoring a time when men wore their suits with pride, purpose, and principle. When I put it on, I felt it in my bones. It didnât feel like a suit â it felt like destiny. Like Godâs confirmation that I was ready for this next season.
Then entered the woman who helped me â and let me tell you, she wasnât just a sales associate, she became a chapter in my story. Patient, kind, intuitive. She didnât just help me piece an outfit together â she helped me step into who Iâve become. I told her that sheâs going to see me again one day â on the news, in an article, or something big â and sheâll remember that she helped me get dressed for a defining moment in my life. Thatâs how real this was.
And it only got better. The tie? A perfect green â the color of restoration, growth, and peace â on clearance for $4.99. Not only did it match the message Iâm carrying into that courtroom, but I tied the cleanest double Windsor Iâve ever tied in my life. Like it was meant to be. The whole look just came together effortlessly. Like divine choreography.
I didnât even need tailoring â which was a blessing considering the short time I had. It fit like a glove, and every piece felt intentional. Clean, quiet confidence. Respectful to the court. Honoring the weight of what Iâm about to say, while grounded in humility.
To everyone at Menâs Wearhouse, especially the associate who helped me â thank you. You werenât just selling a suit. You were helping a man walk into a moment thatâs been written for a very long time. And Iâll never forget the role you played.
When you walk in just looking for a jacket and leave suited in purpose, conviction, and peace â thatâs more than retail. Thatâs...
