Tarrant County College - Trinity River Campus East — Local services in Fort Worth

Great but not enough parking signage. Yellow is faculty, white is everyone else. Unfortunately East doesn't have much parking and a lot of it is shattered with people who come to walk the campus/trails and don't want to pay for parking. It's not much better parking on the main campus and walking over because parking there is also overcrowded. Also, none of the campuses I've been on (I've been on 4) are truly handicap accessable, especially when the elevators are out. I like that they encourage walking/stairs but they've made little considerations for the disabled/differently abled. So far professors are great but the work list is insane; it's really not designed for the non-traditional middle aged poor person trying to get a second degree. If you have to work and do school, good freaking luck. However Professor O'Connell for Pharmacology is great, study what he gives you and you'll do great, but my other professors, though good, don't teach what you need to know. They might say, "this is a test question" but overall, I'll study for 8 hours only for none of it to be...

It was my first time visiting the campus and the college is really nice and clean. However, I wish the staff would know the difference between down town Dallas and Fort Worth because I was informed several times that my program was at the Dallas location and I live in Rockwall TX so it's an hour commute without traffic. At the main campus I went to the advising desk to turn in my application she pointed me to another location and that person pointed me to a different location that was at the east location away from the main campus. I was very frustrated because even on the program application it has the main campus address. This is the only college that offers this program so I'm kind of stuck going here but even the website is unorganized and all over the place. If I didn't need this as badly as I do I wouldn't attend this college. But I'm program director is nice and the staff for this program is helpful and friendly. Staff has no knowledge(including the staff at the help desk)of anything to help or guide you in the right direction. The Program Coordinator in the Health Science department NEVER answers her phone and never answer her emails promptly. This college is not intended to help EVERYONE achieve a higher education and/or willing give resources to help people who are actively pursuing a degree or certification navigate towards a better financial future. The actions of the staff there SPEAKS VOLUMES. I have been there SEVERAL times. Same damn outcome every time. I WILL NEVER RETURN. I deserve better. If I could, I would give this college a big fat minus zero. The hate at this so called Community Collge(a facade) is insane. Oh and the good reviews have photos PRIMARILY of who? I rest my case. Lol.
