Caravan of Dreams Gallery — Attraction in Fort Worth

I also had a bad experience exactly like the other 1 star review at this establishment. We were greeted very kindly and politely by the receptionist man (Apr 11, 2024 7:30pm), told us the rules very politely and what the place has and offers. But the Asian lady (I think she was) with glasses kept looking at us throughout the WHOLE gallery. I understand they don’t want people to touch stuff, and I definitely did not touch anything or never would, but the way she followed and stared at us if I got close to take pictures of the art or the artist name, definitely made the experience uncomfortable for me and my gf. I took a picture of one artists name and she poked her head around the corner to really make sure I didn’t touch anything. Like I said, it’s fine if they really don’t want people to break the rules. But then as I was about to check the other exhibit that I soon found out is closed, the lady in glasses very rudely stated that it’s not open. I have no idea why this hurt my feelings. I kind of felt profiled to be honest, but I don’t want to come to that conclusion because her coworker was also Hispanic and they seemed like friends. Im gonna trust my gut here and come to the conclusion that something negative was going on with this lady. It really felt like it. ☹️ I didn’t say anything to my gf as I didn’t want to ruin our date. ☹️ I loved all of the artwork, I follow a lot of artists globally. What a horrible experience and establishment!!!! My husband and I love art of all kinds. We walked in, immediately we were followed like we were thieves. Upon getting too close to a piece of art were criticized. Ok, no problem. There was a line on the floor, but never noticed it as we were looking at the beautiful art work. The second time this person jump down our throats was uncalled for!!! She needs to be taught how to interact with adults and gain some customer service skills!!! Will NEVER return or...

the staff here were very nice! there's a little gift shop, some fun art books to flip through, and some very unique pieces. have a qr code scanner ready if you want to do further reading on a particular piece! the description (plaques?) were excellent, neutral, and informative. the guard was friendly and i didn't feel like i was being watched like a hawk the entire time...
