I usually love coming in this store but after yesterday's experience I probably will not return. I went in and was one of two people in the store. The girl working their did not glance up or acknowledge me once. She was glued to her phone looking down the entire time watching a video that was audible. Is it because I'm ethnic and not what a typical customer might look like race wise? I don't know. I proceeded to look around and then asked her about where the hat designs come from out of curiosity and she had no clue. She called a manager and then told me she couldn't give out their information but I could look for it myself online. I then asked her about the brands of the hats they carry and she couldn't identify the differences. She had to physically look underneath at the tag to identify what was clearly a Stetson. From the lack of customer service and honestly just basic social skills... to the lack to product knowledge it was disappointing. This store is a high end boutique inside one of the nicest Hotels in the Stockyards so I expect more as a consumer of Western fashion. The employees should have exceptional customer service skills and know their inventory. This isn't Forever 21 in the mall where I expect to get ignored and no one takes an interest. I hope that she gets some much needed training or that this store does a better job at hiring professional employees in the future that acknowledge and treat the customers...
Read moreAmazing Experience! A girl named Kayla was such a huge help and completely turned around the negative experience I just had at their other store a couple doors down. I visited their main Fleastyle store in the stockyards, paid for an appointment, and struggled to design a hat. They handed me a tray and then silently walked away without walking me through the process. It seemed like they were too busy doing other things to even make a connection with me. I wish it had been more personal and engaging! I didn't even end up making a hat and I got directed to go down to Wide Brim , as there were predesigned hats there. I thought about not even going to see the other hats because I did not want to experience the so called 'customer service' they provided. My husband talked me into going down to the other store just to see what they had and I am so glad I did. After walking in I started trying on the hats and started to get a bit frustrated not being able to find one that fit my head and Kayla quickly stepped over and explained exactly how they worked. After talking to her and realizing she had only been working there about a month or so we were shocked at how incredible she treated us and how much she knew about the hats! With her help I actually found a gorgeous hat that was perfect and after buying a hat box she even took the time to close the store and run to storage to get me one! Overall she turned the entire hat search...
