Spencer's Lawn & Garden Center Fountain — Local services in Fountain

WoW oh WoW! WoW! WoW! I discovered Spencer about 5 years ago and just absolutely loved it/them (although I only shop at Fountain, CO location). I spent every last dime I have at this place. When I ordered two plants from Monrovia and realized I can pick them up at Spencer, I jumped at the chance because I loved this place. I didn't love them so much when they charged me an extra $20+ per plant just to hold them for a few hours. I felt like I was charged twice for the plants I ordered because the plants cost only around $30+ from Monrovia (I am not telling you the exact amount because I am embarrassed to say that I didn't call Spencer to ask how much they will charge for receiving and holding the plants until I can pick them up). I received the call in the morning and picked my 2 plants up in the afternoon. As much as I want to support the local businesses, I will be shopping at Lowes and Home Depot from now on. I've been shopping here for the past few years, picking up flowers and plants now and then. They've always been friendly and have great plants. Today however they really showed how amazing their customer service is!!!! I happened to be there today when a severe thunder/hail storm hit and they encouraged me to stay safely there until the storm passed. They checked in with me to let me know how much longer the storm might go and once it slowed enough to get out of the store they walked me to my car with an umbrella, checked my car for damage, then loaded my flowers in so I didn't have to get out of the car. I bought some expensive roses last year with warranty they told me if it dye I can bring it back so one of them dyed and the other one is good I pulled it out of my garden and took it back and it was exactly the same month I bought them last year so they didn’t take it back and told me I should have brought it on October I said nothing was back to life on that time so how would I know on October if it’s dead or coming back to life I had to wait as everyone know how these things work here in Colorado anyway I was not able to replace it or get my money back I thought to share my experience here with...
