I'm not sure if they have a "go to" list for making reservations or if they are just prejudice; however, I was completely uncomfortable with even leaving my child with them.
I made a reservation (which they were booked) 3 weeks before I needed to. I was then put on the "wait-list"; I called at 3:49pm CST to follow up because unfortunately I was unable to plan the rest of my day due to childcare. Turns out they did have a cancellation, and had reached out to the mother ahead of me but had yet to hear anything from her. They were then going to give her until 12:00pm CST, and give me a call to let me know.
12:00pm, the next day... nothing. So, I called at 1:15pm CST, and was told by Courtney that they were giving the mother till 12:30 MST (which is 15 min later from the time I called); I explain as nicely and respectfully as I possibly can that I'm not trying to skip the woman or be a nuisance, but I'm unable to book excursions/lessons because of child care being up in the air, so if they could please let me know. Again, I'm told that they'll let me know regardless.
3:25 CST (2:25 MST)... Nothing! I call back and am told they are now giving the mother until 3:00pm MST. At this point, I'm extremely disappointed and quite uncomfortable. This mother has yet to respond in an entire 24 hr period (which when I called to make the appointment, they told me 4 hours, so make sure I'm giving the best phone number) re the spot, and I have actually called diligently to inquire about mine. Then when I voiced my disappointment in there back and forth. I was simply told, "thank you."
I'm not sure why this mother was given such extreme customer service while I got none (not even a return phone call), but it made me feel completely uneasy. I decided to just take my name off the list.
If you can't return a phone call (be responsible), treat people fairly and equally, or maintain your word, I can't expect you to act any differently with my child. Completely disappointed and would NEVER recommend unless you would enjoy the run around in a...
   Read moreThis is our second year leaving our children here while my husband and I hit the slopes. Last year we had two kiddos (4&2) this year we have three. My daughters loved what we call “kid camp” last year and begged to come back. This year my youngest is 3 months and exclusively breastfed. We were accommodated so nicely and I was able to enjoy the afternoon with my husband without worry. Each of my three daughters come home with an adorable detailed report card of their day. The children’s center is a special place where little ones can relax and play before they are ready to ski. Thank you!!
Update: 2 years have passed since I left my original review. We are back in keystone and I feel like this facility has only improved. I love the staff and caretakers. My girls love attending what they still call “kid camp.” They bring home adorable art and have nothing but great things to say. Thank you so much for all the happy years of skiing for mommy and daddy.

After we dropped off both kids at the Keystone children's center, we headed up the mountain on the gondola. We received a call from the Keystone children's center about halfway up the mountain, my daughter had a fever (ear infection) and needed to be picked up immediately. I headed down on schoolmarm to get down the mountain as soon possible and picked her up. They assured me upon pick-up that my daycare bill would be refunded and that I could get a refund for my lift ticket too. After taking my daughter to the doctor and getting a prescription for her ear infection, I tried to get my lift ticket refunded, but the Keystone ski resort refused. I really wish that the Keystone children's center had not lied to me about the refunds, to this day they have not refunded their $135 charge as promised.
