I've been coming here with my family and friends for 2 years now. This restaurant has a ton of potential as there is a good variety food/flavor profiles. I want to give this place 5 stars but my completely appalling experience last night has chopped down that tree from the roots. My family and I will NOT be returning here.
It all started with 2 orders of wings in the hot buffalo flavor (usually absolutely delicious). The first order was good, but the second order had some problems. The wings were cooked fine, but the drumstick portions were undercooked and slightly cold. When we expressed this concern to our waitress Erika she then stated in a rude voice that there was no way the wings were undercooked and we had no idea what we were talking about (my friend is a GM of a similar restaurant). She then proceeded to start slamming plates in our faces to get the rest out of our way in a rude cold hurry.
We then ordered our main entrées with no relief from the negative vibes she was spewing. My diabetic friend was being insulted for trying to order the same salad he purchased the previous 2 days in a row. She was saying if he wants the salad it's going to be tiny and he can't have the same size he received previously and that he was wrong and did not know the menu. When she said this, is was so intrusive and rude it completely silenced the whole table and really turned things sour.
When the food finally came out she forgot to include the chicken on my friends salad which she grieved us for ordering. Once we told the manager (who was very nice) 5 minutes later Erika brought the chicken out without saying a word (no apology or acknowledgement of her error) and rushed out of there (my water was empty at this point).
In the end the manager ended up removing the undercooked wings from the bill, but when we went to combine tickets and pay for it she overrides the manager deductions and acts like it was never on there and we were wrong AGAIN. She forgot to bring my to-go containers for my leftover food TWICE after asking her. I had to get up and grab it myself.
In the end my Dad (too nice to argue with her anymore) eventually folds over and pays the full price just to keep the peace.
This Erika waitress who never introduced herself properly (got her name from the receipt) was the most rude, berating, insulting, and intrusive waitress I've EVER had in my entire life. Let alone when we're spending over $100 dollars and have been there 3 night in a row.
She was TOXIC. This place will...
Read moreMis-quoted wait time! 20 minutes for 2 people. Went to the bar to get a drink while waiting. The bartender had no patience for anyone. A table opened up in the bar. I asked the nice young server, working in that area, if anyone could sit, or was the bar area included in the wait rotation. She said it was open and she would be happy to take care of us. Remember our name was still on the wait list...A manager came up to my son and I and said the tables in the bar were being used for the wait. He was not accommodating, nor reassuring that we were welcomed in the establishment. We got up from the table and another 25 minutes went by. I went back to the hostess stand and no one was there. I looked at the list and our name was crossed off. Now, when we were going to sit in the bar, I think the nice server took our name off, but with the confusion the manager, hostess never made our name "current" again. Eventually, the same manager came to the hostess stand and asked if I was being helped... (Umm, you kicked me off of a bar table and I'm standing at the hostess stand).... I told him my name was crossed off the list. He said he had a "table ready." Again, no apology, or "Thanks for waiting." I needed to let my son, who was playing pool, know we had a table and made my way back to the hostess stand to be seated. Looking around, the restaurant had several open tables, with less people waiting to be seated. He told the hostess table #75. I followed the hostess. She took me to the smallest 2 top table, backed into a corner, surrounded by several large parties.... I looked at her and said no. She had a couple of tables out from the cluster of people and seated me. (son still playing pool) I really wanted to leave... Our server, Ivan, helped turn our night around. He was great! (5 Star) The food was average..... The manager, with the beard and blue sweater, did his table visits, helped bus a table, shined a salt and pepper caddie, Not once did he stop by and check on our table... Not going back!
Just walk on bye, Zuma isn't the only...
Read moreWent here with a friend on Wednesday night 1/09/2019 and our waitress was the bartender. It started off bad after it took more than ten minutes for her to even notice us. When she did finally come over there was no greeting, no hospitality, it was almost as if we were wasting her time. Her first words: “What do y’all want?”, um excuse me? You ignore us for the first ten minutes and when you finally do come to our table you rudely ask “what do y’all want?”. Anyways, my buddy asked for a Dr. Pepper, to which she looked at us with a sigh, like we were troubling her by asking for a drink. So she fills up the glass and slams it on the table without even looking at us and immediately heads back behind the bar. At this time there maybe 2-3 patrons at the bar, not enough to pull her attention away from our table but, it did. My buddy drank his Dr. Pepper and had to wait approximately 10 minutes for a refill, to which she slammed down the refill on our table and quickly walked away. When she finally came to our table to take our order she just starred at us. Extremely uncomfortable, and after a few brief awkward seconds of mean glaring she asks what we want. We placed our order, after placing it again she looked at us with a look like: “Seriously? I can’t believe I have to serve you.”, and she went away again not to be seen until our food arrived. She basically tossed the plates at us and ran away back behind her bar, where there was still hardly any patrons. She never asked how our food was or refilled our drinks. After our dinner was over (about ten minutes after) she finally brought the check. I don’t know if she treated us like trash because we were young but regardless if you don’t want to serve people don’t go in to the service industry. It’s simple. And aside from the service the food is extremely overpriced for the subpar quality. No wonder they don’t let chain restaurants in the keystone town square, it would run all of these overpriced restaurants out. My advice: stay away from all these town restaurants. Head to...
