Silvermill Condominiums — Hotel in Silverthorne

We booked this room for one night. We were excited to stay so close to the mountain and planned to spend the day at Keystone. Check in is at 4PM and Check Out is at 10AM the following day. We arrived at 8AM and they told us they would call us for check in if they could get us in early.

At 230 I called and the room wasn't ready. At 4PM I called back and the room still wasn't ready and the person "helping" me was annoyed. I got no apology, no way of making up for anything--all I got was a demeaning "the room is not clean you will need to wait".

I finally got a call around 6PM saying my room was ready.

Since I literally had the room for one night, arrived extremely early, and followed up throughout the day, I think it's a little ridiculous the room was not ready on time. When the room was not ready after 4, I was put on the phone with customer service who clearly didn't care about the issue and is frustrated that we were calling again despite being past check-in time. At the very least I'd expect an apology--we paid for 4-10 and did not get that.

Visited on a shoulder season so many of the summer activities were closed, and the winter ones are not open yet. The rental unit is in the silvermill building, which has a heated underground garage, with elevators up to your floor. The unit was very comfortable, a kitchen stocked with untensils and several pantry Staples, as well as dishwasher soap, dish soap and a sponge. The unit I stayed in had two rooms, one with a single King bed and attached bathroom suite. The second room had two twin beds and a separate bathroom next to it. The living room was spacious with an electric (?, Did not use it) fireplace, and a VERY spacious L couch. Lastly there was a small outdoor porch with two clothes. There were several TVs, internet throughout the complex. The complex has a lounge are downstairs, with a pool table, a sauna, and three outdoor hot tubs. There is access to the the rest of the complex and town area with shops, coffee shops,...

Good- right inside town with a beautiful balcony overlooking the river run village . The kitchen was big the rooms had a bathroom each . Gas powered fire place .. hot tubs and sauna where nice

The Bad 2 stars on the poor management . We arrived at 7 pm only to receive an empty lock box . We then called vacasa and stayed on hold for a while . When the power went out we where stranded in our rooms.( apparently when there are fires in the state they shut down power to the building) for the prices we payed they should of had a plan . I bet this is not the first time it happened.. Also our door lock broke and maintenance never showed up to fix it. Jet tubs didn’t work .These complaints might seem small but take in consideration the price...
