New Moon Cafe — Restaurant in Silverthorne

Ok.. I am in Florida.. my son was getting married in Keystone and I had to host the rehearsal dinner. It was a challenge doing it long distance and I was worried until I found NEW MOON CAFE!! The owner Barb and I worked via email and it turned out to be a HUGE success! We hosted over 60 people and had a fantastic selection of Panini's, Salad, Homemade chips and salsa, hot pretzels with cheese, home made desserts and a wonderful selection of wine and beer along with mixed drinks. We had the entire place to ourselves ( inside and great patio) and a terrific guitarist (Todd) who played throughout the night. Now I have hosted parties.. my daughter got married at the Ritz but I have to tell you everyone had a fabulous time and are still raving about Barb's fantastic staff and the fun they had! Will not go there again! It wasn’t worth all the money we spent, seriously! It was myself and two of my friends. We spent almost $76, for 3 sandwiches, a can of soda, a berry tea and a margarita. The berry tea cost $14!!!! The margarita that my friend ordered, that has ALCOHOL cost exactly the same as the berry tea. And my drink which was a can of soda cost $5! We waited for a little bit over of 30 minutes to get our food, they weren’t even cooking, they were just heating up, it shouldn’t have taken that long, it wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant, just another group of 5, and ourselves. When we finally got out food, it was missing pickles, like it said it was going to come. The food wasn’t worth the wait, at all. Subway is cheaper, than that place. I’m just very disappointed, will never go again there. It was a waste of money, don’t go there, unless you want to spend lots of money on food that is...

Paid 78$ and that was including 10% discount and not even tip....that u have to walk up and order! If your from Colorado and understand how expensive it already it is without discounts for being local then having a horrible experience at a restaurant tops it! I'm not one to usually complain but at this cost I have too! Yes 4 sandwiches and a burrito were ordered, waited at least 1/2 hr. One got a sandwich the other was wrong! Then 20 minutes later 2 more and said other was cooking! Really uggg.... then finally get the other 2! At this point want to leave due to over a hour and mind u this is not full service!! We cant even get clean to go boxes@! At this level should be higher standards but I will do more by throwing it away and our money!!!...
