Candy Craze — Local services in Franklin

Avoid this candy store if you do not want to get sick!!! My children and I have visited this store once a year for the past 5 years. It is hard to pass up when we visit this mall- They have a nice selection, and our time IN the store is always pleasant. BUT, Year after year we get violently sick from enjoying these candies. All of the candy bins and candy scoops are open to the public for use. The staff do not supervise these bins so It's no surprise that children are reaching into these bins with bare hands and playing in the candy. I cannot blame the kids- sugar is exciting. But, After getting sick(vomiting/diarrhea/stomach flu) CONSECUTIVELY for 5 years/5 visits- I have made the decision right now to avoid this store at all costs. Makes me sad to write this. I kept giving this place a chance just hoping "this visit we won't get sick," but I was proved wrong every single time. I seriously question if those candy scoops have ever even been washed.. From the germs we pick up in that store- every single time- I have decided the owner does not care about the health of the public. Put the bins behind the counter. And let...

I’ve tried calling the store number for a week now It rings and rings and then hangs up. Today I finally heard someone answer but they couldn’t hear me.. and I called back 4 times, same thing.. and then I called again this evening and it rings and rings and then hangs up. I’m calling other people and my phone works so only assume it’s theirs. I’ve even called mall security to see if they are open. I sent my daughter in to the store and had her leave a message to have them call me.. no call. I’m just trying to get a large custom order of candy packaged and give them $’s but this is crazy!! I’d think the owner would want to know how difficult it is to try and get someone to call me back and take my order. I love going to this Candy Craze because the staff is so friendly! I needed help picking out candy for a party and the green haired girl with glasses was awesome. She gave me opinions on what she thought would look best on my candy buffet and was super funny and kind throughout.
