My wife and I had an event on August 23 in New York to attend and came into the Franklin Cool Springs store on August 10 for a rental suit for a military dinner. The fitting process went well. The fitting pants were a bit short and I told the employee that I like some break in my pants. He said he was planning on ordering a longer pant leg so that I had break. When the suit came in on August 14, I tried it on in the store, nothing was right. First, the pants were SHORTER than what I tried on and the hem sat 2-3" above my shoe. The coat was too tight in the chest and the bottom of the coat sat above my waistline. The tie that came with the suit looked like a kids tie. Albeit, I have a 21" neck, the tie would not clasp around my neck and extended only about half way down my shirt. The manager told me just to use some Scotch Tape to hold it in place for pictures! I took it home to show my wife and she was amazed how bad it fit. I went back to the store on August 15 and shared with the manager how bad the fitting was and he got another employee to help me out. They reordered a coat the next size up and long. They had me put on the pants and marked it for alterations and told me they would fix the pants in store. The replacement coat came in on August 21, the morning we were to leave for New York and I went to the store to try it on. When I took the pants out, they were about as wrinkled as could be and still had the soap marks on the pant legs from the alterations. They pant legs were not let out as long as I had hoped, but considering I had to get on a flight in 2 hours, I had to live with it. When I showed the employee helping me the wrinkles and soap marks, he assured me he would take it to the back and clean it up and steam the wrinkles. He did what he said he was going to do, but when he brought out the pants, he just put them on the table in a pile. Before he was done packaging up all of the suit pieces, the pants, the shirt, and the coat all ended up on the floor. By this point, I am over the entire process and took the suit and left. I will NEVER do business with this location or Men's Warehouse ever again! By the way, I received an email on August 31 telling me that my tailoring order had...
Read moreTerrible. First visit was a Sunday afternoon. After waiting to be helped for about 10 minutes, I looked around and saw there were two customers waiting to check out at the front counter (with nobody helping them), two being helped, and at least five of us standing around looking very frustrated. I waited about 10 more minutes, then decided to come back another time.
Two days later I came back during the day and they were definitely less busy (but also had less staff). Went through the whole process picking a suit, only to find when we got to the counter that it wasn’t available. So we went through it again. Then I asked about alterations and the sales person did the measuring - and he (and his manager both seemed to be novices at this particular skill).
I told them when I’d need it and they said their normal turnaround was within that time so it shouldn’t be a problem. After 3 weeks, I finally decided (two days before my event) I’d better check. The person answering the phone said they’d be happy to check. I spent 10 minutes on hold and then was hung up on (I’m assuming that’s their system dumping calls after 10 min). Called back and was immediately greeted with, “do you mind a brief hold?” I said ok before I even thought about it. Spent another six or seven minutes on hold before someone else answered and asked how they could help. I said I thought someone was checking on the status of my suit. She immediately said, “Yeah, they got busy.” Finally, after more time on hold, she let me know it was ready. I wonder if they’d ever have let me know if I hadn’t called.
Overall, the service is just bad. I doubt it’s the fault of the employees, they seem undertrained and over-worked. I’m confident I...
Read moreI honestly hate to give bad reviews becouse realistically I believe it’s due to lack of employees. But I have to say, I’ve boughten 2 suits from here and also just went through them to rent all my groomsman’s suits for our wedding, and every time and every suit has been a complete headache. All the sales guys speak highly and get you in a suit. But when it comes time for their alterations, it’s a complete nightmare!! Always getting things wrong, having to come back multiple times (granite it’s a 49min drive one way to get to the store from our house) to refit and remeasure and wait another week or so to come back in just to realize it still doesn’t fit how they promise after the alterations. They even had to scrap one hole suit of mine and just give me a whole new suit to start over with… then when it came time for our grooms suits,I had all the guys go in for 3 fittings to make sure the sizes where perfect for when the suits came in, and when it came time to pick them up, 1 day before we left for our wedding (since that’s the only time frame they give you for a rental) they were all wrong and even the wrong shoe sizes and they had to alter them again and order new shoes which would come the next day which we couldn’t have Becouse we were already leaving for the wedding. just very sad Becouse I know they can do better. Just very very frustrating!!! And honestly I wouldnt even have them alter my suits but I have to go through them Becouse if not it voids their warranty, but I honestly think their alteration people are...
