This candle store in the mall smelled delicious when we walked in. We anticipated making a candle. My expectation was to actually make something within the wax. You should be aware, that other than pouring wax and picking a scent, all you’re doing is using stickers to decorate an expensive empty jar. Even the stickers were limited and also very hard to peel. Although Eric was very sweet and knowledgeable, this was extremely elementary. It was interesting to pick out a scent from the limited selection. The colors that were available were very basic, and when we asked for a certain color, his answer was always. I don’t know I’ve not tried it. I wouldn’t say not to go, just that this is better for a younger person and your expectations should be low. Other mentions, this is a store in Spotsylvania mall. There are no restrooms unless you walk to the food court or the Belks department store. There is also a lot of noise from the children’s floor games and the train traveling past where you are working. There were ready-made candles, fun matches, and other gift ideas. It was mentioned that the store changes regularly seasonally, and for the holidays. It’s an interesting concept to have in a store, but having better options like dried flowers, ribbon, wax cubes, mix-ins would have given it more the value for the cost. A friend gifted me this candle making experience for an afternoon girls day. Located at Spotsylvania Towne Center, the facility is located in the mall, right near Belk.

First off, the store is bright, clean, and naturally smells amazing. My friend and I were immediately greeted by a friendly staff member.

Everything in regard to the entire process, was explained easily. There are a wide range of scents available for every person. The prices were very reasonable, and the experience was great!
