The store itself has a pretty good selection most of the time but please train your employees better. Waited in a long line to get my son a sled to have two of the cashiers walk away from their registers in the middle of a rush. One of which walked away after we walked up to pay for our things and said I’ll be right back. The female at the main register right in front of us saw what happened and hand signaled the next guest leaving us waiting at an empty register. She then said out loud she wanted to ring the customer with the puppy in their hands. My son and I stood there with a huge red sled (not easy to ignore)at an empty register right in front of her for quite sometime as she blatantly ignored us and baby talked the dog and then called over the next customers. We waited and waited until I finally called over another cashier who was just pacing the floor on his walkie laughing. Finally I asked the man on the walkie to ring us and he said oh yeah I can do that. Wow if I hadn’t said anything we would’ve stood there all year. I went to this store because I couldn't get professional advice on fishing gear at my local bait and tackle shop and I wasn't getting many answers from bait shops near where I fish.
Every single question I asked was met with: "I don't know", "no", "I'm not the fishing guy" or "would you prefer it if I lie to you." Those are not the answers anyone expects when they make a special trip to a place where all the answers should be.
Furthermore, they tell you, on the phone, that they spool your line. What they don't tell you is they only spool 'bulk line' and all line is monofillament except for one braided strength (80) pound test. They refuse to spool a lesser test even if you pay for it first. They have the audacity to call it "reel service"...

Read moreI was in the market for a Denise Austin treadmill that I had seen at Dicks two days earlier. After doing my research I was ready to buy. Upon entering the second floor I see 2 employees just standing together talking. I told them I was interested in purchasing a treadmill. One said we will be right with you. My husband and I stood by the treadmills waiting to be helped. And waited and waited well now 3 employees are standing approximately 25 feet away from us. Needless to say no one came to help. We passed them on the way downstairs with not even an “Oh can I help you”! We went to customer service and asked for the manager and one of the three employees walks over. I asked for his name and he said it was Jeremiah. I told him that he lost a $599.00 sale because no one came to help us. He said he was talking to his employees and I said the customer always comes first. He told me to have a good day.
