I recently visited Men's Warehouse with high hopes of finding a new wardrobe and perhaps some accessories. However, my experience at this store left me utterly disappointed and disgusted. It was clear that this was not the good old Men's Warehouse that I used to know. I had initially planned to make a significant purchase, but the behavior of one of the employees, a woman with a Russian accent named Ira or Irina, forced me to reconsider my decision.
Upon entering the store, I was immediately struck by the negative atmosphere. It was clear that something was amiss as I witnessed Ira/Irina treating both customers and her colleagues with shocking rudeness and disrespect. She spoke to her coworkers as if she were their superior, lording over them in a demeaning manner that was entirely unprofessional. This was not the Men's Warehouse I remembered.
What truly appalled me was the way she interacted with customers. It was evident that her attitude was not exclusive to her coworkers. She treated customers, including myself, with the same disdain she displayed towards her colleagues. Her dismissive and condescending demeanor was absolutely uncalled for, and it left a sour taste in my mouth.
I had originally come to Men's Warehouse with the intention of spending a substantial amount of money, eager to update my wardrobe. However, witnessing Ira/Irina's behavior made me question whether I wanted to support a business that employed individuals with such a terrible attitude. Ultimately, I decided that I would rather donate my money to a more deserving cause than spend it in a store where customers are subjected to such unpleasant treatment.
In the end, I left Men's Warehouse without making a purchase, feeling disheartened by the lack of professionalism and respect demonstrated by one of their employees. It's unfortunate to see that this once-beloved store has taken such a turn for the worse. I hope that the management takes this review seriously and addresses the issues within their staff to recapture the spirit of the good old Men's Warehouse that many of us used to cherish. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this...
Read moreI arrived with my son today so we can get suits, shirts, shoes and all we need. We are attending a couple weddings in the family. I could have gone to Macy's witch is my favorite but I was looking for some one who knows and I can trust to get us what we need, that is Michael. We waited patiently, and then suddenly we were told that if I wanted to be helped by the associate we were waiting, he needed to either be off or clock out to help us. Can you imagine go to a business and ask for help and the person you picked is told by his/her manager to clock out or I have to wait until he/she is off. This really angered me and with out saying anything, I left. I was disappointed because I was waiting patiently for my turn with out complaining. The manager Joas Zozaya, took the decision to give me options with out even addressed me directly. The option was, I can pick some one else other than the associate I wanted to help me or the highway. I have been in many departamental stores, much better, and no one has ever given me limitations on who I should pick to help me. I am the customer and I decide who to give my business; no one else! I like to take it easy and relax, I will come back next week and I will go directly with the manager to ask for Michael and I expect a different approach or I will take this to corporate and my business to some other place.
Update: I am now being retaliated for my comment by not being allowed in this location. I did not interacted or crossed a word with anyone there. My intention is not against the associates, their job performed there or the product. It is because this manager's actions. I was not disrespectful with anyone and I am indifferent with not being allowed in there by this manager. It is fair to share my experience as a customer.
Update 6/3/2023: I got a call from corporate long time ago and I explained the same to them. Men's warehouse retaliated my friend by moving him to another store far for good or for bad I do not know. No one contacted me back since then. No actions other than retaliation for...
Read moreCame here to buy a suit. Ended up spending over $600 including a hefty fee just to alter the pants slightly. I was promised that the suit would be ready to pickup on Thursday. I called ahead on Thursday morning just to confirm that the suit was ready and was told that it was.
Went to pick it up and had to wait for around 15 minutes for them to bring it to me. The pants fit fine but they did a visibly sloppy job on the stitching. There were multiple long threads popping out all over the place, stitching loops that were popping out, and entire seams that were coming undone due to threads not being done right.
I pointed this out to the person who gave it to me and he said it wasn't threads coming out of the pants but was threads that were stuck to it that had already been cut. This was obviously not true as pulling on any of the threads was pulling it straight out of the pants. The person helping me decided to take scissors and cut all the loose threads. I told him that wasn't acceptable as the seams were visibly falling apart.
Frankly it looked a lot like they did the alteration while I was standing there for that 15 minutes waiting for them to "find" it and not during the week that they had it.
The employee went away for a while and came back and told me I could have it back that night at 7pm. I then complained to the store manager that I paid to have the alterations done and it was obviously done wrong and very sloppily and someone surely noticed that it was done wrong and decided to hand it to me anyway.
He told me they would fix it right now and give it back in 15 minutes. Although they did fix the falling apart seam, it still looked weird as there were short threads popping out of various places and loose seem loops. You would think he would offer me a partial refund on the tailoring fee or at least give a store credit. Wrong.
I would really think twice about coming here again and certainly would not let them tailor/alter anything I bought knowing how bad a job they do for the same price as a real...
