I went to this location today to get fitted/purchase a suit for my daughter’s wedding. I saw three of the employees leaning on the counters upon entering. I began speaking to a lady by the name of Claudia while the men still both leaned on the counters. I began explaining what I needed and she asked me for a number for the group and I didn’t have it but offered a name of the wedding party. I also have a phone number that would suffice. I was basically admonished that I should have that number even after she had pulled up the info we needed. She started telling us the number without offering a pen or letting us get on our phone to jot it down. I noticed there was a pen and post it notes on the desk. She then, for lack of a better description, looked myself and my wife over and asked if we were renting. We said no, which really should not matter. After a very condescending interaction with her and no one else wanting to lend any professionalism to the interaction, I told her I would step outside to contact my future son-in-law. Claudia assumed that my wife had followed me out and turned around and said to her fellow employees. “ I can’t believe he didn’t have his number or what he needed or what he was looking for and had no idea what he was doing” Basically calling me ignorant I guess. My wife said the other lady got a look of horror on her face because Claudia didn’t intend to bad mouth us to our face. My wife heard the exchange and told her how rude and unprofessional throat was and we will not be shopping at this location. As my wife exited the building she heard one of the men actually laugh and turned and asked him “do you think that was funny?” I felt like I was a low class citizen and in all my 53 years on this earth have never seen this type of treatment even from young people at a fast food restaurant. After contacting their customer service I wanted to write a review and noticed this same individual has had the same complaint. I am appalled at the whole encounter. I now realize what minorities who have been treated this way have felt. Horrible. I would not even give...
Read moreI Thought by going to Jos. A. Bank that myself and my fiancée would be treated as though we were important. We entered the store in Frisco, Texas around 1:45PM and were basically ignored. We were shopping for a Tuxedo rental. When we were finally helped 15 minutes after entering the store, if you can call it that, we were given a book then were left alone at the table for about 20 more minutes. No introduction, no hand shake, not even a smile. Claudia, which is the rep who was "helping" us came back and asked what we chose. We played along and told her. Her next question was to get measured. No talk about price, style, color, anything. She continuously left us alone to help other customers as it appears she was more concerned about her commission then assisting us pick out 9 Tuxedo's!!! At 2:50PM my fiancée and I finally ran out of patience and left the store with the order still not even half way complete. I would be embarrassed if I owned that store with that level of service being provided. I will make sure to steer everyone to MENS WEARHOUSE. That is where we drove to immediately after we left. We were greeted the moment we walked into MENS WEARHOUSE and immediately assisted. We had a Tuxedo picked out with color coordination within 15 minutes. It was an absolute pleasure at MENS WEARHOUSE. 9 Tuxedo's will be ordered at a cost of $245 a piece. Do the math. We were serious shoppers. I will never shop at Jos. A Bank ever again and will do everything I possibly can to steer all business away from that location and all locations. Thanks for reading. This was...

Since my husband's wardrobe has consisted of suit separates for the last several years, we decided to shop here for a full suit. I was immediately turned off when we walked inside, as Steve (who I came to find out is the manager) was too busy texting on his iPhone to notice we were there. After close to 5 minutes of walking around, he finally put his phone away to ask us if we needed help. Once my husband explained that he was looking for a navy or gray suit, Steve walked us toward the back of the store to show us some suits in my husband's size. While we were in the middle of putting a jacket on my husband, another salesman (Alex, an assistant manager who was returning from a smoke break) came up to Steve to tell him that a guy had come into the store to buy 12 suits. Steve immediately hightailed it over to this new customer, leaving us in the dust. No explanation, nothing.
Now, Alex is "helping" us and has no idea why we're there. My husband had to re-explain what he was looking for, what colors he wanted, etc. They sold him on the "Buy 2 Suits, Get 75% Off" special, but he didn't bite when they tried to upsell the "Traveler's Crease" for additional $10 on each suit. They push the quick, in & out alterations schedule, but make no mention of the $12 charge on each piece until they're ringing it up at the register. We left with a promise of correct alterations due in four days, so I'll report back then! Alex was very nice (thus the extra star I'm leaving), but I definitely don't recommend working with their...
