I have been to the store a couple of times and haven’t had much of a problem but today I went to the store and had one of the worst customer service experiences ever. A few friends and I went here just looking around to see if anything caught our eyes. After looking around downstairs and not finding anything that peaked our interest we made our way upstairs where a woman asked us if we needed anything. We kindly told her no and that we were just looking around for now but that her consideration was appreciated. My friends and I then went to look at some clothes and I mentioned that something in the store was rather expensive as it was $200.00 and the woman who had greeted us started talking at us in a very rude manner. She was over twenty feet away from us talking loudly, almost yelling at us saying, “this is high quality so if you want high quality it’s gonna come at high prices.” I nodded my head and agreed and said that I understood and expected her to stop raising her voice towards us as we hadn’t addressed her since we had walked in and were most definitely not talking or complaining to her about the prices She proceeded to proclaim that if we wanted to complain about prices we should go somewhere that didn’t have high quality and shop there because clearly we couldn’t appreciate or afford it. She then continued to berate us saying that the section was for grown real women and we shouldn’t be there even though my three friends and I are all grown woman, and even if we weren’t, we should still be allowed to shop there anyway. She continued with her ill mannered and rather inappropriate speech claiming that we shouldn’t be up there and that the junior section was downstairs, passive aggressively telling us to leave. It got to the point where my friends were so uncomfortable they all turned around and wanted to leave the store. I am not one to stay silent when treated in such manner but to support my friends milder tempers, I walked away without a word to the woman but if they hadn’t been with me I would’ve had many more words to say. I think her name might’ve been Teresa but I am not sure. All I know is she was working upstairs around 3:30 p.m and was a taller black woman. I was very unsettled by her lack of professionalism and her assumptions about a group of people she had only said one sentence to. Read moreMr. Don Bernard, the business manager of men’s suits, was amazing! I went in with my daughter and her boyfriend looking for suits for prom and he was so patient and nice! He was hands on and very helpful! He worked directly with my daughter and her boyfriend showing them so much respect that isn’t usually shown to teenagers. I wanted to let them speak to him so that they could convey their wishes and dreams for their prom. She even had her gown so that they could match. He measured my daughter’s boyfriend and guided them through the process, even sharing his experience with his own son. He perfectly combined professionalism with relatability and guidance. He answered all of their questions and made them feel confident in their selections. He was also honest and didn’t try to sell them on items that the store didn’t have. They couldn’t find a perfect shade of pink for his shirt so instead of trying to convince them to buy another top, he suggested that they purchase the suit from Dillard’s and then seek the top elsewhere, even going out of his way to make suggestions. Kept waiting. Tuesday I called Dillards got a tracking number and it was FedEx shipping. It gets worse from here. Left Sanford Fl Tuesday, arrived in Jacksonville, left Jacksonville went to the Tallahassee area, up to Northern Georgia. Dillards reply was we only hold it for ten days. I explained I am going out of town and would be gone 11 days. Please refund it. Can’t do it without the merchandise. I said it’s coming FedEx to you. It’s suppose to come today between 11:45 and 3:;45. I called to see when they get their FedEx shipment, girl replied 5. I am 73 don’t drive in the dark and leave town tomorrow morning.
