Hobby Lobby — Local services in Gadsden

They have a huge selection of stuff, but it's usually pretty pricey. The craft paint selection is great, but other things, llike mosaic glass pieces and gemstone beads for example are lacking. They have stained glass but that requires you to cut it yourself if making mosaics. They have a rather large selection of beads as well, but they're all hanging on a aisle wall and don't appear to have any real method of organization, so when searching for gemstone beads, you just have to look at all the tags the beads are hanging from to see if it's what you are looking for and after awhile, you just get tired of searching through them all and give up. I think it would be much better to organize them by the material they are made of. For example, gemstone/semiprecious stone beads, glass beads, plastic beads, shell beads, etc. once they're in their material section, they could be organized by the size of the beads. So put all the seed beads together, 3 mm together, 4 mm together and so on. It would be so much easier to find what you're looking...

With my recent move to Gadsden, learning the layouts of the stores has been a challenge. Walking into Hobby Lobby was a breeze because the layout is like most other Hobby Lobby storea. I went straight to the aisle where I needed to find the items I needed. Staff was friendly and offered to help when I walked in the door. They are only allowing one direction into the store and one direction out due to COVID safety guidelines. The checkout process was easy and quick. The cashier was friendly and asked if there was anything she could do to help me further before completing my transaction. She thanked me for my purchase and wished me a great rest of my day. The store was clean and items were shelved and displayed in orderly fashion and very pleasing...

If I go in Hobby Lobby I am usually looking for something specific. Not this trip. I just went in to look. I got lost in the store .. time just slipped by two hours later I check out, with a pack of ink pens! That's it!! Two hours, vanished!! Be warned! Looking around this store can cause a time gap you can't ever explain! Anyway! The Hobby Lobby in Gadsden is a nice store. It's neat and well stocked.
