This is my June 9 update to Panda Express and it will be my last their habit of only opening when they want to and think that they can maximize their profits is unacceptable. They provide no notice on the door nor on the website. Then the franchise tries to blame this on COVID and inability to staff the facility. I do not know of any other business that thinks they can only be open when they want to. I will not be inconvienced by an organization and have to pay for it If this is possible my rating will be no stars. One star is overrated
Several days back my wife and I went to Panda. Bad experience. Google and I crossed wires thought I had posted the review below to Panda. The review went to Krispy Kreme. Just noticed today since I received unsatisfactory response from my submit to Panda corporate I am adding the rant from the other night below. Once again I am extremely disappointed with Panda and their commitment to customer service. Like the food but if ever have experience similar I will just make my own Panda style at home. Original post [Tonight was the worst experience I've ever had at Panda Express I game in decided to try the eight treasure chicken they were out on the line ask the girl how long it would take she told me 5 minutes I agreed and went ahead and got my Beijing chicken or Beijing beef and lo mein and went to my table 25 minutes later I realize that I have not received my eight treasure chicken. I then went to the counter to see if they had forgotten me what I found when I got there is yes they had prepared eight treasure chicken and had two served at least half of what have been brought to the serving line none of which was served to me the girl apologized was going to bring some out to me but to make things worse the serving that I was brought up here to be about half what a normal serving would be or seem to be very little damage repair initiated by the staff at this Panda Express. Very disappointing experience I expect much better from Panda Express as a rule I certainly hope this is not going to become a normalized experience for this restaurant] Very...
Read moreI've never had an issue with Panda until recently. Don't really want to blame specific locations, but it happened in Gadsden, AL.
After a long, ridiculous day at work, I ordered dinner for my mom and myself, and even ordered ahead on the app because I knew they closed early and didn't know exactly what time, but I knew it was either 7 or 8. I placed my order on the app at 6:15pm for pickup at 6:45PM.
Upon arriving at the location, there were no cars, and it looked closed, but I went ahead and pulled into the drive thru. Was not greeted by anyone, and I waited there for about 3-4 mins before pulling up to the window. Once at the window, I could see that it was dark inside and still no one to greet me or offer assistance. So I drove around to the front, and sure enough, doors LOCKED, chairs flipped up on tables, LIGHTS OFF, and NO ONE in the restaurant.
I understand being short-staffed. We are all short-staffed right now. I even understand closing your location if you can't staff it. You have to do what's best for the business. What I DON'T UNDERSTAND is how a location, which said online it was open, and was still accepting orders through the app AND DoorDash, is actually CLOSED and therefore the folks who are putting in their orders will not be fulfilled.
And, of course, customer service is all digital now, so there's no number to call, all through email. Although, they did give me a refund, it still doesn't excuse the company and it 's location from taking orders for food that will not be made and delivered upon and taking payment for the food that the customer won't receive in the...

Panda Express in Gadsden delivers on its promise of fast, flavorful Chinese-American fare, with fresh ingredients and familiar favorites. During my visit, I enjoyed well-prepared food, though there was a slight wait for my supergreens. However, I’d much rather have them fresh out of the boiler than receive something less than crisp, so this was a minor inconvenience in exchange for quality.
While the food met expectations, the cleanliness of the dining area could have used a bit more attention. Several table tops hadn’t been wiped down, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. It’s a small detail, but one that can make a difference in the overall impression of a restaurant’s upkeep.
Despite that, the overall experience was positive. The food was solid ensuring a meal that felt fresh and satisfying. With just a bit more attention to cleanliness, this location could elevate its dining environment to match the reliability...
