Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Gadsden

Krispy Kreme and myself..Oh , where to begin.. Krispy Kreme is a happy place for me. I have a cognitive attachment to Krispy Kreme due to the fact I used to frequent a Krispy Kreme in South Eastlake..And while East Gadsden is no South Eastlake by anymeans one can only work with what one has to work with. I love my Krispy Kreme. I used to try to show all respect to the ladies and gentlemen of the Krispy Kreme in South Eastlake and just for today and every single day for ever and ever , amen..I wish to show everyone in East Gadsden Krispy Kreme the upmost respect as I think everyone in Gadsden should...Count your blessings that you are enjoying a Krispy Kreme in a much safer city than Birmingham ..enjoy the many blessings your local East Gadsden Krispy Kreme has to offer in a much safer city than South Eastlake... I love my Krispy Kreme East Gadsden...I just wish I could stay longer every time I go..maybe read some in my books after having coffee ☕ and donuts..write in my journal , make a study hall out of the East Gadsden Krispy Kreme...I want to grow with the East Gadsden Krispy Kreme so that I feel more comfortable there to stay there a little longer every time I visit.. maybe bring some of my work there...some people bring there work until coffee ☕ houses...it is not unusual for someone to bring they're work into a coffee house doughnut 🍩 shop .and maybe if I play my cards right and in a few years after my program has developed me further into contributing to life on life's terms..I can gain employment at this great establishment that serves a product I believe in...and as the Buddhist Eight Fold Path States My good people at Krispy Kreme are aligned with Right livelihood..a righteous way to make a living... I realize I have written alot... let's just say Krispy Kreme...

It's 840 am and there is only one car in front of me, and none in the parking lot. The place is literally empty. I had to wait about 10 minutes behind the car in front of me before they took her order. As I got to the speaker I was told to wait. I waited an additional 5 minutes. When I finally ordered they were out of apple fritters and donut holes. So I order blubbery cake, and a cream filled original. Along with a brown sugar oatmeal and a peppermint mocha. I get to the window and they asked what I ordered. I repeat my order and they turn and say "so all you had was the blueberry cake." So I repeat again, they hand me 2 donuts in a bag and ask me to pull up and they will bring out the rest. I feel of the donuts and the glaze is hard a a rock and they do not feel or smell fresh at all. Then they come out and bring my coffee....... No oatmeal. I remind her that I had oatmeal, she says she will go get it. She brings me out a container only half full of what looks to be water with a few oats in it. It is almost pure liquid. Also, I ordered brown sugar, and received plain. With no spoon. I can understand mistakes and things getting hectic when it's busy, but there was literally me and one other car there. I will not go back, and if I do, I will wait while they cook fresh donuts when...

My fiancée and I ran in for a late night snack at 9pm this past week. First off, he had to get out of the car and ask an employee if they were still open, because it didn’t look like it. When we walked in, all the donuts had been cleared from the cases and put away, and the employees were mopping the floor and locking doors. We proceeded to order our donuts (which was very tricky, because the kid had to bring them out of the back on the racks for us to see what they had), but couldn’t get any drinks because they had already emptied out their dispensers. We were followed in by a large group of teenagers who had to go through the same mess to order.

I understand being proactive, but this was ridiculous. If your store closes at 10, then that’s when the employees should start cleaning up, dumping out, and clearing away. NOT an hour before. It’s an inconvenience to your customers, and there’s no telling how many potential ones drove off because the store appeared to be closed.

All that being said, it’s hard to mess up a Krispy Kreme - and the donuts were...
