Unfortunately Google does not provide no stars as a review. I went on Friday evening (6/7) to return two items and exchange 2 pants and it was a disaster. Roberta tried to help me with my returns but she lacked the experience needed to complete the transactions. I told her to separate the and make two separate transactions but Fatema (the Manager told her no do everything in one transaction). First mistake, I bought the pants with Carole and Sandy when the sale was 40% off linen. No surprise they wanted to charge me more for the pants, I complained and they changed the price. Then, they returned the jacket and the dress but then they cancelled the jacket. At the end, they shortened me by almost a $100.00 on the return. I told Roberta that was something wrong and she said no. While I was having dinner, I decided to go over the receipt and realized the mistake. I called and spoke with Fatema and she had the nerve to tell me to come back at 1 pm on Saturday so she would take care of me. I told her that I would return on Saturday morning and she had left a note that I would be coming in and they fixed the issue. Too bad for Chico's because I went through my wardrobe and pulled everything that I could return and was not used.
I had a problem with the same Manager back in 2017-2018 and it took Chico's two months to resolve the issue, when I complained with Corporate, they let go of the District Manager and left Fatema when she was the problem. During this period, Fatema kept the store with no AC, and I saw some things taking place while I was in the store and asked if they had cameras and her response was no.
Since this problem which Chico's still owes me money, I used to call to ensure that she was not working while I would make a return and bought online only.
I feel bad to have to write this review, especially that now they have two amazing associates (Carole and Sandy) but they need to do something about the Store Manager.
It is sad that I have been a customer for 18 years and I have seen how Chico's decadence and why they sold the Company. They have become extremely expensive and the craftmanship is not a 10.
