Being a 32° member of the Galveston Scottish Rite and serving as a Knight of St. Andrew has been an incredible experience. I’ve had the privilege of helping with props and participating in multiple degrees, and I can honestly say the camaraderie here is unmatched.

The Galveston Valley holds a special place in Texas Masonry as the Mother Consistory of Texas and the birthplace of Scottish Rite in our state. Add to that our nearly 100-year-old cathedral, right in the heart of Galveston’s historic Strand district, and every visit feels like you’re stepping into living history.

Reunions are always a highlight—full of learning, teamwork, and plenty of laughs. Monthly meetings, club gatherings, and the social hours before and after are just as meaningful. Whether we’re sharing a meal, working together on a degree, or catching up with brothers, there’s always a sense of fun and fellowship.
