The Style co. — Local services in Galveston

I saw this store after eating at little daddy's gumbo one night and decided to come back to it the next day. Checked the google map for opening time as I was leaving town to return to Dallas. Google maps shows 10 am. Get to the store - not open. Door sign says 11 am. Okay, i can wait an hour and go have breakfast. Came back at 11, not open. Called the number on the door, voicemail says Wednesday to Saturday opens at noon. Im annoyed by this point because the information is all over the place. So we go shop in the trading company next door, great store, go there instead, and while I'm in there I ask the lady if she knows if the style company will open. She texts the owner, Katharine, who then responds with 12:30. That's not advertised anywhere. So I take my kids to bishop palace and when we're done, it's 12:30. I decide to drive back by because my daughter wanted a dress in the window so badly. We get there at 12:40 to see a sign on the door that says be back at 1:30. You mean to tell me you came to work for 10 minutes and left?? Get someone to work your store while you piddle around and make sure your hours are consistent across all platforms. It's basic business sense to be open when you say you will be. I wasted two hours of my day...

I wanted to share with everyone how wonderful the owner, Kathryn is! My daughter lives in San Marcos and I live in Houston. We were spending Christmas in Galveston so enjoyed some shopping in the area. We stopped in a couple of minutes before closing but Kathryn was so kind by letting us take our time and try on some things. My daughter ended up leaving her wallet in one of the dressing rooms. My daughter was able to contact Kathryn and was able to get her wallet the next morning! Kathryn is such a sweetheart for her honesty and helpfulness!!! I highly recommend shopping there since she has lots of cute clothing but especially for Kathryn's great...

Absolutely love this place! Her clothes are always so cute and different. I love that she only carries a couple in each size so there aren't hundreds of us wearing the same thing! Kathy, the shop owner, is truly one of a kind. She is so kind & brilliant. While in her shop perusing this weekend, some young girls came in and were VERY sunburned. One of the girls was complaining about her sunburn when Kathy offered her a little tub of aloe. She even told her she could take it with her to share with her friends! It was pretty neat to be able to witness this little act of kindness! Please stop by...
