Gardena Bowl is a classic bowling alley with charm and character. The alley itself is well-maintained, with plenty of lanes available for both league play and casual games. While the morning leagues can make it a bit intimidating for newcomers, the atmosphere is generally welcoming and friendly.
One of the highlights of Gardena Bowl is the coffee shop, which offers a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as light snacks and pastries. It's a great place to grab a quick bite or relax with a coffee before or after bowling. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.
In addition to bowling, Gardena Bowl also offers pool tables, which is an excellent addition to the space and provides another activity for customers to enjoy. The tables are well-maintained, and the cues are in good condition. The pool area is well-lit and spacious, which makes it a comfortable place to play.
The only potential downside to Gardena Bowl is that the space can get crowded during peak times, especially on weekends. However, this is to be expected at a popular bowling alley, and it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
Overall, Gardena Bowl is a fun and affordable option for anyone looking to enjoy a game of bowling with friends or family. The coffee shop and pool tables add to the overall experience, and the staff are friendly and helpful. While it can get crowded during peak times, it's a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with...
Read moreThis is one comprehensive bowling alley! Came here on a Saturday night and put my name down for Cosmic Bowling around 7pm. To kill some time, ate at the great restaurant inside the bowling alley, checked out the arcade, and just hung around.
Just a little before 9:30pm, checked in and was ready to bowl. Staff members are efficient and friendly. Cosmic bowling $20/person for unlimited games. I have my own bowling shoes so I can't comment about their shoes.
Gardena Bowl's equipment is definitely up to date! The screens aver very interactive and animated, but not in 80s graphics. It's contemporary and some of the graphics are quite funny, especially if you get a strike or spare.
Plenty of bowling balls to borrow, most of them looked neon-colored in the cosmic lighting. Overall place is clean, including the bathrooms. Vending machines are reasonable and stocked. I'm looking to bowl...
Read moreI don't come to bowl, but to eat at the coffee shop, "Rickshaw"! Stephanie is one of the best waitresses you'll ever have. Never writes as you give your complex order ( l have a lot of limitations) and Never messes it up! My friend was treating me for my birthday and she was very happy with her ox tail soup 😋. I had my "vegetarian egg fu young" which still had 3 and substituted broccoli for my rice but they no longer had the pickled cabbage or hot mustard that usually comes with it. I saw at another table that they still had their excellent "chausu" ( lean roasted pork) l had friends that would drive from the Valley or Orange County to have that breakfast. Did l mention it is Hawaiian/Asian restaurant with Kona coffee? Worth the wait and...
