I loved my experience here!! It felt like a long-standing, family owned, locals’ favorite restaurant. The servers were attentive and kind as well! We ordered chicken teriyaki bento and salmon teriyaki bento🍱. They both came out with various food with lots of veggies — broccoli salad, somen salad, a piece of orange, macaroni salad, teriyaki salmon/chicken, and rice. The broccoli salad seemed over-dressed, but other than that, everything else was just on-point!!! The salmon teriyaki had crispy exterior and moist and tender interior. The teriyaki sauce was also delicious and well-blended with the salmon. Somen salad was nicely seasoned and I liked the pumpkin seeds in the broccoli salad. They also gave a warmed up bread with butter as an appetizer, and oh my God.. The bread was irresistibly fluffy and moist, and smelled and tasted fresh, and the butter was also VERY good!! We killed the whole thing instantly and got kind of too full for the main dishes 😛 Anyhow, I’m going back there and I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s down for an authentic local experience with a selection of Hawaiian and American foods!

Every meal here is a good one. I have too many favorite dishes, it’s difficult to choose my dinner. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. You too will find your favorite dishes here. They also do Holiday pick-up meals throughout the year.

I like this place. The food is good. There is a little bit of everything. From award winning chili to Japanese food. If you eat at the restaurant (outdoor patio open) the sourdough bread you get before the meal is delicious. I like getting the Prime Rib, only served on Fridays right now. The side of somen salad is a favorite of mine. My wife loves the bento box meals. They are a good deal with a variety of foods. The owner is a really nice person too. Support small business and eat here. UPDATE - After coming for Take Out many times. We just ate here for the first time inside for the first time since COVID. It was a Friday night and it was kind of busy. Ther were a couple of large groups. Not sure if this is normal but I was happy to see there were customers at this small business. I might call and make a reservation next time. Otherwise I would be willing to eat on the patio. Friday nights are Prime Rib night so I got it. It was delicious. It comes with cream corn, their delicious somen salad, and choice of baked potato, mashed potatoes or rice. I got the baked potato but there's no bad choice. The service was great asI remembered. Please come...

LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This place is exactly what you are looking for! The food is hand crafted with love that you can taste in every single bite. The dining room of the restaurant is comforting and reminds one of times at home eating meals cooked as a family. They keep it simple and fair priced with no fufu menu items and they are one of the last remaining local spots with a prime rib special only on weekends, and 6 time award winning chili and a classic rotating daily special white board. Lastly this is a family owned business so I can humbly encourage anyone looking for a good bite to eat to go and do your part to support the restoration of our local community with the cute owners who protect the love that goes into their food and the hearts of their customers...
