Smoky Mountain WOW — Local services in Gatlinburg

We spent 8 nights here in August. The bears showed up on 7 of the days and were entertaining. These bears patrol the neighborhood daily and live close by. Lock your car doors. We watched a bear open a worker truck driver’s door and remove the guy’s lunch. The 5 king suites were appreciated by my family. The br over the kitchen has mold on the bottom foot of the shower curtain. The br next to them had a shower that dripped 2x a second. Both fridges had filters that were installed in June of 2022. The change filter lights flashed red every time water was dispensed. The washer was loaded with mold- see picture. We called and they removed most of it but didn’t have bleach to get rid of all of it. The dining room bench was very dirty from years of kids spilling on them. No spices are provided, including salt & pepper. The 2 fridges, cooktops and dishwashers were greatly appreciated. The pool is small but it was great for our 6 grandkids. We easily parked 4 vehicles. The view is unexciting, but it is very close to downtown. We walked daily to town...

The cabin was clean and beautiful. However, we had several hiccups which were pretty annoying. We were supposed to have the code to get in at 4:00. Almost an hour later after sitting outside in the cold waiting, with kids who had to use the restroom and it getting dark out, we finally were let in after we had to call again. (Third time) One of the dishwashers was broken and the second one was falling out of the wall which made it difficult to use. There were no basic things for us. Ex: no toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, or coffee filters (even with a coffee bar.) It was just a little frustrating we had to go out and buy everything. For $1,500/night, you would expect those things to be included. (Or even just notified to bring that stuff.) Parking pad was goofy with big ditches on each side. For the first day, one of the bedrooms had no electric at all. End of the second night a maintenance company did show up, but we had already fixed the issue ourselves. Not sure I would return...

Loved this cabin!! The cabin was new and clean. I was organized really well. In the kitchen all the drawers were labeled which made things sooo much easier. There were two of every large appliance (two refrigerators, ovens, stove tops, dishwashers, and four pullout waste baskets for trash). The decor was of a cabin/woodsy feel but still morden enough to not look old and dated. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious livingroom and kitchen. The bunk beds were queen size which is wayy better than standard size bunks. All the tvs were smart tvs and good sizes. The game room, pool, and theater were in the basement and were really nice! I especially loved the theater room because of the comfortable recliner seats and the tv was HUGE! It was great for a family/friends movie night.
