Smoky Mountain Dreams — Local services in Gatlinburg

First I want to start with the positives. This small shopping plaza is under rated with great shops restaurants and coffee shops. My family and I love to visit this are every time we visit as it is close to our condo. Furthermore the candles in the shop did have a great smell to them.

Now for the negative. The only reason why I have this store a negative leaning review is due to the interaction we had with the person in the store. He claims to be the person who knows all about them and makes them himself. He took his time to explain what a soy candle is, the benefits to it and showed how it can be used as a lotion. As mentioned before this store is close to our condo so when we buy anything, we like to buy stuff prior to leaving so we don’t have to carry bags around. With that being said, we told the guy thank you and we will be coming back. We were truly going to buy two later. Unfortunately as we were leaving the store the man yelled saying “thanks for wasting my god damn time!” The store had nobody else in there and we did not ask the man for help either. You should never speak any customer like that I’m sorry. Because of that I am not and will never purchase...

I ain't really knows how to rated this. This places haves really good stuffs. I camed here many times through the years. I buyed stuff on the webnet also too. Sometimes it was easy. Sometimes it were not as easy and I have to email or call and sometimes they tooked a long lots of time to responded to me. I got some lamps from there . They are great 👍. Not sure they got those. The cologne and perfume roll ons are amazing. Some of the most accurated accurately correct fragrances you can found. They soaps is blah. Not great. Not horribly. Why 3 starred? The mans worksing in theres can be awful rude and maketh you felt really uncomfortable. I prayers for him and knowed that he needeth the Lord Jesus. But y'all pray with me too okay?! Love y'all. And go in they place and finded something nice y'all wills liked...

I'm from Indianapolis, IN. I spent Valentine's weekend in Waynesville, NC but we stopped through Gatlinburg on the way and did some shopping. I'm SO SO happy I found this place! Ken was the nicest, most informative salesman I've ever met, and managed to do it all without being the least bit pushy! Their candles smell AMAZING and burn evenly for a long time. I asked Ken about soap for my daughters - one who has acne and one who has eczema. His recommendations were on point. I'm a huge fan of the Black Soap. I bought 5 bars of soap and 2 candles for under $50. I don't regret a cent of my purchase. I highly recommend stopping in - as for me, until I get back that way I will absolutely be a return customer...
