I am a big fan of pottery barn in geneva il but.....the past two weeks my visits in the store (two different sales associates) the customer service was very not Good that is why I am rating 1 star. The first visit was for pillows for my couch and the lady didn't really want to help me and my friend. We did end up buying some throw pillows but returned them due to the service. Also there were only two other customers in the store.
My recent visit I bought bedding and the lady would barely help me.I told her what colors my bedroom and i wanted nuetrals or white bedding but she kept talking about blue colors. I kept telling her i already had blue bedding from your store. A customer walked up and and asked to be checked out.So she left, she never came back to check on me. After fifteen minutes of walking around, I finally walked up to the register, and she was socializing with another associate about this coming weekend.So I had to interrupt them.She waited on me but was not very friendly and acted like I was not important. This store is now putting a bad taste in my mouth so I will not be shopping at your Geneva Il location any longer. It's too bad (i have shopped and bought tons of stuff at this store for many years) but with the two purchases I was very disappointed. I made my return today on this second purchase due to the associate customer service. Please train your staff to wait on customers with some respect. Multiple attempts to place the order again later that day and the day after failed also. And subsequent re-orders said my gift card was invalid or had no balance. Called customer service and got disconnected. The rep had all my contact information but didn't bother to call back. Second call to CS and the lady confirmed my gift card had a balance yet the order would not accept it from her. I was asked to wait 48 hours and try placing my order again. I'm sorry but my time is worth something and I don't care to work this hard to do business with any company, git card or not. Read moreI just created wedding registry here but now I’m literally pulling it to go to crate a barrel. I went into the store to check out the items I added on my registry and anything I missed. I went in with a pony tail and gym clothes. The women that worked there were sure greeting people that were dressed up but did not even look at me say hi smile ask if I needed help or anything. Instead I got looked up and down and dirty looks..
