About 40 minutes before the store was supposed to close, a sales associate - Alicia came over and told me the store was “closing soon,” even though there was still plenty of time left. It felt like she was trying to rush me out. She made a few comments that made me feel pretty unwelcome—saying things like “i don’t want to clean the dressing room up again” and telling the other associate (who was extremely respectful) “she just put new clothes on the mannequin,” almost like she wasn’t allowed to let customers touch or try things on, even though they were just shopping for items in their size. What really bothered me & my friend was when she dismissed a piece someone was interested in by saying another customer “didn’t need those clothes.” That came off as rude and unnecessary. Overall, it felt like we were being pushed out and judged when we were just trying to shop. I really hope this gets looked into, because it wasn’t the kind of experience I’d expect from Victoria’s Secret. Especially in a store in Geneva. As i’m sitting in my car, I saw another potential customer open the door to Victoria’s secret & immediately get shut out at 7:50 PM....
Read moreI’m writing to share a disappointing experience my friend and I had at one of your stores involving an employee named Alicia. We visited the store on 4/30/25 at around 7:12 PM and were immediately told, “We’re closing soon,” in a tone that felt unwelcoming.
While shopping, we overheard Alicia speak rudely to a coworker who was kindly helping a customer with a bra size from a mannequin. Alicia remarked, “Ugh, I just put that on there,” which came across as disrespectful and seemed to make the customer uncomfortable.
At 7:20 PM, when we entered the fitting room, Alicia gave us an unfriendly up-and-down look and told us, “We close the rooms in 10 minutes because I just cleaned them, and I’m not going to do that again.” Her tone and attitude made us feel unwelcome and rushed.
We understand the importance of closing procedures, but we believe it’s possible to communicate this in a polite and professional manner. The attitude displayed negatively impacted our shopping experience, especially compared to the other staff who were helpful and kind.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope this feedback helps improve future customer...
Read moreEvery time I come here, I always get exactly what I need. They aren't like most Victoria Secrets' where most of them have no idea how to size you. I had an incident at the Norridge location where the lady was so angry that she was working past her scheduled time that she sized me wrong, told me they didn't have the bras I was looking for in "that big of a size" come to find out, she never even went to look! She'd fold clothes for 5 minutes, then come back and say she couldn't find anything. With that being said, I love this location, they're very friendly, and take pride in what they do. I always feel well taken care of here. Oxana I think her name was, re sized me, and gave me a wide variety of bras to look at, and was perplexed how the other location would size me as a 38D when really I'm a 34DDD. Thank you for making up for their horrible service, with having as good of...
