I did not have a good customer experience with this store.
I purchased some clothes and two perfumes, both of which I thought were travel sized spray. While I was purchasing, the woman checking me out was having a communal conversation with the other associate at the desk and another customer, she forgot to give me my receipt or didnāt print one, idk. She just rang me out and gave me my bag and went back to her conversation.
When I got to my car, I noticed that one of the items was a roller ball instead of a spray like I thought, so I brought it back in. I didnāt have a receipt, obviously. The woman who rang me out was nowhere to be found, and the other cashier couldnāt refund me (just $15) without a receipt. She got the manager involved and hereās where it all went south. The manager looked at me in a way that seemed like she was suspicious of me, and spoke down to me as if Iād stolen the perfume and brought it back for a grand profit of $15. I am a quiet, normal looking, unassuming woman in her 30s who just stopped in after work at her office job to get herself a treat. So unassuming, in fact, that apparently none of the employees recognized me from being in 5 minutes earlier. I had to show them my bank statement to prove that I had just purchased from them, and for some reason, even with the time stamp, that wasnāt enough for them because thereās no itemized list of what I bought. I offered for them to check their register cameras and they didnāt want to do that. They ended up begrudgingly giving me the refund to my card. There was no reason for the treatment I got when the problem was from their OWN mistake (not giving me the receipt). The exchange I had with her was insanely rude and wreaks of entitlement in the people who are managing the shop, and just not something I wouldāve expected from an establishment like this.
Please coach your staff on customer service. All of the staff, no matter tenure...

To avoid re-packing the items, I returned the shelves at the store. Upon arrival, an employee told me I couldn't return them at the store despite being an option on the site because this Anthropologie store is not a home store. I was so disappointed because I drove about 25 minutes to get to this location. The employee asked the manager to be sure. The manager was so kind and helpful. She said that they would mail the shelves for me. I appreciate the excellent customer service I received today. To no fault of the store, I wish the website would clarify that this location is not a home store, and it shouldn't offer it as an option to return...

That was my first time inside the store and I just fell in Love with everything. They have such beautiful and one of a kind pieces as well as beautiful decor that would look beautiful in any home. We walked around browsing at all the Beautiful things and we also got to talk with this really sweet young lady who does the decor for the store.
