I went on the first opening day and ended up spending about an hour and a half in line just to get in. They have a lot of cute stuff including Sanrio, traditional Japanese house shoes, very cute stationery if you're into that. They had a limited selection of snacks and Foods. All the prices are in yen, but they have signs everywhere that tell you how much things are. The lowest price is $2.25 American. All together, I spent about $50. 90% of that was snacks. I did pick up a couple things for some friends and myself. Things I probably didn't need, I like the Japanese omelette maker add cute little bell keychain in the shape of a panda head. I think the sounds that Japanese Bells make are cute. The first 200 people got a tote bag if they spent at least $20. On Sunday the 7th at 10:00 a.m. is when they open and on this day, it says that Shoppers will get a special gift for the 20-dollar purchase, but it doesn't say what it will be.

It was super neat. I was making gift bags for some classmates and it had everything I needed. There is a chart you have to refer to when wanting to check price which is in every aisle and the majority of the products are in all Japanese text. I’m especially excited to try the noodles I got. The stationary section was very big and I have to explore it more as well as the beauty section.

I used to live 4 minutes from a Daiso in Tokyo — imagine my joy when I discovered one was opening 15 minutes from me in Tennessee! HUGE store; lots of similar products. I’m SUPER excited for this addition to the Germantown / Memphis community!!!! So impressed!!

Extremely unprofessional, hostile environment. While I was shopping and needed help, two of the employees (black man and large white woman with purple hair) were flirting, giggling, being affectionate with each other, etc... and gave me a nasty look, mumbled something under their breath (I'm sure it wasn't nice!), and ignored me when I asked for help finding an item that I had seen online. Cashier at the front was on her phone and also ignored me, so I had to use the self-checkout.

For such a small store, I never would've expected to have this much trouble finding assistance. No wonder the store was empty when I walked in! I should've taken that as a sign in hindsight. Dollar Tree is cheaper for the same quality and the employees don't treat you like you're inferior to them or that you don't...

Great store! Plenty of product selections: crafts, hygiene, toys, pet supplies, paper products, home goods, camping equipment, cooking supplies, food/snacks, and more! The employees were very kind and helpful. Prices were reasonable, and there were signs all over the store explaining the pricing system. Shelves were well re-stocked after opening weekend had ended. They have huge selections of character products, such as Disney, Kirby, hello kitty and friends, and a few more I didn’t recognize. They even have seasonal selections- quite a bit of Halloween stuff out right now. Very excited to keep...
