Urban Fusion Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Germantown

Urban fusion has quickly become my new favorite spot for Hibachi! I started eating here in December, and I've been here for dinner(or lunch) at least 6 times in addition to the first time. The portions are worth the price, and every meal has been flavorful. Urban Fusion gives me my grilled veggie fix since there aren't many places to just get veggies. All of my meals have been cooked to order but I never have a long wait for my meal. The staff is always pleasant, and although I usually get my food to go, the restaurant has been clean during all of my visits. Although having a very unassuming outside (almost entirely invisible!), entering is an entirely different story. A simple, but modern arrangement with a really cool aquarium display creates a fun aesthetic.

As for the food, it was all incredibly delicious. The tataki I had was near perfect and although I only tried a single roll, the Dynamite roll, it was too sublime. As for my main meal, all of the sashimi I had was beyond excellent.

I need draw attention specifically to my personal pièce de résistance in terms of sashimi. The tako, or the octopus, was perhaps my favourite bite of all. Incredibly smooth and tender, with just the most delicious flavour.

But again, the rest of the sashimi I had was incredibly good and tasty, all of it as well tasting very fresh.

I need also make a special mention of our waiter, Elijah. I'm sure everyone is great, but he definitely made the whole experience so, so much more...

We had dinner yesterday..the lady who served us gave water but forgot to give straws. After about 10 minutes, I asked her for straws and she said she forgot and apologized. That's ok as the restaurant was busy and she was running around. We ordered two appetizers and three entrees. We asked the thai dynamite chicken to be spicy and the basil chicken fried rice to be spicy along with the drunken beef noodle. She said she will make it extra spicy more than the 3 on their rating. When we got the dynamite chicken, it was extra sweet and not spicy at all...so was the drunken beef noodle. After all the hamming she did., it was sweet. She also forgot to bring rice for the dynamite chicken. She got it about 10 minutes later, by the time we finished tbe dish. The basil fried rice with chicken was good among all the dishes.
