Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Germantown

So we just drove in from Chicago,saw this place looked at the menu they offered so we decided to give it a try.we were sat right away,chips were brought we looked over menu to make our choice...then we sat and sat and sat and sat then my husband got up to go grab a waitress as we had no idea which one was ours well she walked right past my husband and came to the table apologizing.called my husband back over and she asked do we want anything to drink I said you know we are actually ready to order. So we ordered I got a virgin Pina colada my husband told to waitress to bring him a class of water as he was really parched...it took awhile for the drinks to come as we didn't wanna eat chips because we were so parched and that just makes it worse..she finally brought the pop and water that they ordered but no Pina colada yet... The food was out quick and then I got my Pina colada however it had red in it she said it was strawberry which normally comes in a Pina colada( only if u order it that way) but by this point everything was finally there I said fine. We start eating... I got what they called their version of shrimp fried rice the shrimp was made perfect but the rice was tasteless I didn't even eat it ,I just took the shrimp out the regular rice and beans was ok but they need to put more chorizo in the beans ...we also got carne asada for my son it was so thin I was shocked. The salsa they give you isn't bad just very liquidy. My husband has a enchiladas and he said it was very bland also.Overall our experience here wasn't the best ,in comparison to where we live this was not very good food or service. The food was okay but the service was terrible. I got there at 6:45pm and i left there at 9:00pm- it took them that long to get me one cheese dip, a glass of tea and a burrito and it was just me. When i was seated , i got chips and salsa about 10 min later. It took about 30 min for a server to come over and she “ rushed me” and when i didn’t order immediately she said she would go get my drink and that took her about 20 min yo go that , then i ordered a cheese dip when after about another 29-30 min it never came so another totally different server Came over and I ordered The cheese dip in the burrito. I was never brought any napkins or silverware when I was brought the cheese dip and salsa, I had to get up myself and go to a table and get napkins and silverware. And literally after maybe 40 minutes my burrito came. I ate it, never got asked if I wanted a refill of tea, was never brought a check I had asked for that and that took forever. It was really ridiculous! The last 30 to 45 minutes I was there the restaurant was almost empty. It has good food But they sure need to work on their service because it’s ridiculous to wait two hours to get two items and if that I had a server that was very put out and not very friendly at all. First of all that waitress, terrible. Her patience is extra, she kept rushing us to order and not giving us time to look through the menu. Attitude was 0/10. she needs to work on that. Second, the waitress did not specify to my friend that the tamales only came in pork. my friend was under the assumption that it came in beef too, my friend can not eat pork. My friend began to eat her food and realized to was pork and spit it out. she then asked to replace her meal because she can not eat it. they proceeded to rudely say that she may get another meal, but she still had to pay for the tamales. which is beyond flipping silly. she had to pay for food she did not eat. the only thing they gave her is a 15% discount which barely took off $2. she was not able to eat at the establishment because she was forced to pay for a meal she could not consume. THEN I kinda asked a worker to bring the manager to talk her about the tamale situation and he proceeded to not get the manager and I had to ask another worker. The waitress had us waiting a very long time to get our checks and take our form of payment because they were on their phones and talking the whole time. Lastly, gnats and flies kept landing our table and landing on our stuff. Overall I wouldn’t come back to this restaurant even if it was the last restaurant open in the city. If I could rate 0...
