The selection is decent. Just save your time and money this is probably the worst hobby shop I’ve been to. They are overpriced they try to sell card over comps and hobby boxes for $40-$50 higher than you could buy online but if you try to bring anything in to sell they pay 50-60% of comps. As I’ve worked for a hobby shop before so understand the aspect of buying and selling but this place just cares about making the most profit possible even if it means ripping people off, any other shop I’ve been to have better prices and offer more for cards. The reviews speak for themselves do your research and see this is the worst rated hobby shop!
Edit: to your reply if you really want me to put your shop on blast and post pictures of your prices and show what you can buy them for online right now I will and also selling cards for $15-$20 that you can buy on eBay for under $10 is not fair prices also that is a lie with what you offer for cards I have taken cards there before that comp for $40-$50 and you’ve offered me $20-$25 for them if you call that fair then we’ll see how your business does in the next 1-2 years or check out the other many reviews that say otherwise or how about the angel reese you have in the store for the “card of the week” when ones that are lowered numbered go for $20+ less than what you have the card for....
Read moreFrom the moment you walk through the door at The Sandlot Sports Cards & Memorabilia, you can feel the difference. The team greets you warmly right away and treats you like a part of the collecting community. They’re incredibly attentive, listening carefully to what you’re looking for and offering helpful suggestions based on their deep knowledge of sports cards and memorabilia.
Whether you’re buying or selling, the process is smooth and professional. When making a sale, they take the time to look over your items thoroughly and offer very fair prices. You can tell they truly know their stuff and their expertise gives you confidence in every transaction. On top of that, their prices on cards and collectibles are fantastic, especially considering the quality of their inventory.
It’s rare to find a shop that combines such a welcoming atmosphere, expert knowledge, and fair pricing, but The Sandlot nails it. If you’re in Glen Ellyn or anywhere nearby, this is absolutely the place to go for sports cards and...

I reached out to them via Facebook they ended up blocking me. I even provided a screen shot of my receipt. I reached out to them weeks ago about a refund via email no response. To make things worst they still have the Lance Briggs uploaded on their...
