I entered London Gold on Feb 1, 2014 just to change my watch battery. To my surprise, my now finance was looking at engagement rings while I was naively focused on paying for my new battery.

The moment we entered the store we were greeted by Denise. She quickly took care of my watch then met my girlfriend at the other side of the store. We had never even discussed engagement rings before & she was asking Denise if she could look at what would be the ring of dreams, a 2 carat yellow diamond halo with a double band. I knew nothing about rings, but it really was beautiful. Denise took our info and we left, headed back to Las Vegas where we live. This is where Denise really went all out and was a true pleasure to do business with.

I called Denise the next day, from Vegas, and inquired further about the ring. I could just tell that this was the perfect ring, so I decided to buy it and eventually surprise my girlfriend with an unexpected proposal. Denise helped me purchase, finance, and get the ring, and then she played a special role in deterring my girlfriend a couple weeks later when she called the store to inquire about the ring (not realizing that it was with us in Vegas, hidden from her). Thanks to Denise and the other wonderful employees at London Gold, my girlfriend believed the best ring she had ever seen was gone, that it had been sold to someone else.

After two months of hiding this ring from her and pretending to show interest in looking at other engagement rings, while pretending each time that I really was not ready to be looking at rings, it all paid off with a wonderful engagement. During that 'long' two months, our conversations often went back to the London Gold store & the ring that "got away from her."

Two months after I purchased the ring, I proposed to my girlfriend on a cruise ship. A surprise proposal and an even bigger surprise when I opened the box and she could immediately see the words London Gold as she of course recognized the beautiful ring.

We recently made another visit to Denise at the Peoria store, and after another wonderful experience, we purchased two beautiful wedding bands. My husband and I had the most pleasant experience working with Denise Marchese and Edwin Daniels. My wedding ring and my engagement ring was stolen from my home. I was very sad to know that I lost the most precious thing not for the value but because I got married with that ring 15 years ago to my beautiful husband; he proposed to me with that ring. The ring was beautiful and one of a kind. I called London Gold and I spoke with the manager Denise Marchese about my ring being stolen she told me that they could make a duplicate of my ring.

My husband had a single picture of my ring from London Gold appraisal. I told Denise Marchese and she got the picture to Edwin Daniels, their jewelry designer. Denise did a great job finding diamonds that matched the one from the original ring and finding a replacement for the diamond wedding band. Edwin was very knowledgeable, helpful and caring as I went through the process of having my unique engagement ring remade. It was a difficult job to reproduce the ring based on only one photo; but, Edwin always was very patient, attentive and professional. He really listens when you're trying to explain to him what you want and he did an excellent job working out all the subtle detail's of the ring' design from the one photo and our memories.

Within a short time, Edwin had a computer model of the ring and sent us images for us to review. He was very patient with us when we came to the store to adjust the model untill it matched the original ring. Soon we had detailed designs for our new ring. Next they made a wax model so we could get a better idea about how the final ring would appear. Now we were even more excited! After a a couple of minor adjustments it was ready to made the real ring. We got the ring and couldn't be happier! It turned out perfectly. We appreciate Denise Marchese and Edwin Daniels for all of the help and efforts they expended in making the right piece for us. What a fantastic experience. I cannot describe how happy I was when I got the finished product. It is outstanding! I have been a long time customer but have never written a review and I just feel like I have to tell you how much I LOVE your store!! When my husband, then boyfriend, were looking into getting engaged I knew IMMEDIATELY we had to go to London Gold. There was no other option in my mind seeing as how my parents had been loyal customers for years. I knew we would not be disappointed and we definitely weren't! Mary Jo, to this day, remembers when we first went in to look for rings! It has been 10 years and our relationship with her has just been phenomenal! Any time we go in she greets us by name and with a great big hug. She always make sure that we are happy with how our jewelry is fitting and looking and goes above and beyond to help us in any way! We moved for a few years but upon coming back our first visit to have my rings cleaned, Mary Jo once again greeted us with the biggest smile and hug. I've recently been able to work with both Shannon and Angelica. They, like Mary Jo, are so kind and warm and really just want to help you. You can tell that these women have a great passion for what they do and a real relationship with each customer that walks through the door. I just left after having my rings checked for their 6 month warranty; they were cleaned and returned just sparkling and gorgeous! I get so many compliments about my jewelry to this day after 10 years. I always refer people to London Gold and this store in particular. If you are looking for gorgeous jewelry at an incredible price and craftsmanship then London Gold has to be your first stop! Be sure to look for Mary Jo, Shannon and Angelica on your visit because you will be so well taken care of!! It's like walking into family. That may sound silly to somebody since I'm talking about jewelry store but these women and everybody at this location really take the time to develop a relationship with you and listen to what it is you're looking for and help you to ensure you are satisfied with your jewelry!
