I tried selling a pair of boots in great condition but no sale because they weren't in season for boots:( I sold them brand name sunglasses along with other items, my receipt read no-brand sunglasses -$3 I was confused because I came back and found them locked up in a different case with all of the other brand-name higher priced items selling for nearly the same price I bought them for?? Most recently I took my daughter shopping and I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched up until my daughter was trying everything on. When we needed some assistance for the fitting room staff members would turn and walk away. My daughter and I couldn't help but look at one another and laugh. "Why does everyone keep walking away" I had a cart full of merchandise ready to go. My daughter is there now looking for swimwear, I told her to let me know how their customer service is with you. Hopefully she will be treated better...

A few warnings and personal opinions of my experiences about this Plato’s Closet (Grand Forks, ND): I wish I could give zero stars. When they opened back up from closing due to precaution from Covid-19, they had very little (and hard to notice) signage for not accepting cash payments so it was an unwelcomed surprise when I went to pay for my merchandise. They have closed their fitting rooms closed and will only give store credit if you need to return items. In my opinion, from shopping at other discount retailers: this store is over priced, the owners are disrespectful, and buying policies are questionable. I have seen dirty and/or heavily worn clothes from Walmart and Target being sold for close to their retail value. Also, if you plan to purchase a large amount of items, remember to bring your own bag as they are a bag-less store...unless you’d prefer to purchase their reusable...

If you're looking to sell high quality name brand clothing this isn't the place to do it. They passed up on the following items: Jeffrey Campbell-Freepeople shoes, Gap, Anthropologie, Lands End, Brandy Melville, Channel, Vans, RVCA, Levis, Coach, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, Urban Outfitter, Hot Topic...and more! I'm a size 2-4, and wear a size 7 shoe. Nothing was stained or worn out, I'm moving and I simply couldn't take everything with me. The chunky wooden Jeffrey Campbell high heel shoes are AMAZING, I was BLOWN AWAY they didn't snatch them up! I'll be selling them on eBay, I thought I'd leave some cool stuff in my town. The fact that the girls didn't take these brands makes it obvious that this store isn't even aware of what high end designer clothing or the hip fashions of today are. My friend left her name there, they didn't ask...
