MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Grants Pass

Sorry guys love the one in Medford...but no one greeted me kept sweeping then slowly walked over several minutes later ...at least washed. His hands I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THERE made my pizza although I wish instead of grabbing the artichoke hearts and dripping the juice all over the pizza they would squeeze it out a little bit upon getting my pizza in the oven he sat there and fooled around with it and turned it into turned it into never letting it just cook for a second he had the pizza paddle under it the entire time when I got my pizza it was actually not even warm to the touch on the top so after it was cut I had to ask them to please put it back in and then when they put it back in and I got it and got into my car to have a piece of pizza down the road it was raw in the middle of the pizza still on the top it had not finished cooking and that's probably why it was still cold very disappointing for just opening. The one in Medford everyone's excited when you walk through the door and make you feel very welcome unfortunately the new one in Medford on the other side of town on the south side is the same way no one really greet you and they're very slow and the morale is very low the only one I'll go to again is the one in Medford by Dick's Sporting Goods hope you guys get it figured out. And by the way I called and the manager was supposed to call me and never called me back that was...

We took friends here who hadn't been yet. The pizza was good. The staff was disorganized this time and didnt seem as friendly as past experiences. We went for lunch and it wasnt busy but they acted as if it was. Its suppose to be a place if your in a hurry we can accommodate and usually they do. This time we watched people after us get their food way before us. I hope it's not a start of going bad.

6/12/2019 Recap another day well once again slow and why at noon don't you have pizza dough ready your saying is fast but G.P. never is so here I wait. I ordered the new cauliflower pizza and Images coming today as soon as they get it going. Yes, I'm still waiting on my hour lunch break. We had to wait 27 mins in-line just to order. Why is this one still so disorganized STILL! It takes 30mins to get through line if your lucky at lunch. Train! TRAIN TRAIN like you do back in my hometown of Seattle. When you first ask me how do I want it and say as is why do they ask everytime the walk and add. As is! Well and now because their slow finding a clean table oh wait found a few. Staff is nice but an hour lunch and coming here not recommended unless you preorder. This unfortunately has always been an issue here slow, slow and slow. We have been to this Grants Pass store 3 times. We arrive each time around 5:30. Tonight we were earlier with few people in line. We were close to placing our order when we both observed a big guy with a backpack on who appeared to have just come to work or was getting ready to leave. He was teaching a young lady how to use the pie making press. He was handling many balls of doe placing them into the press and out " without" gloves on!! The young lady didn't have gloves either! Mind you, there was a box of gloves sitting next to the press!!! I have worked in the food handling Industry and know of safe food handling laws and practices. As we watched in horror, we both noticed he had on baggy basketball gym shorts that looked like they hadn't been washed in weeks!! They had dirt and stains on them. We were feeling grossed out when we got to the young guy taking our order... He pulled a pie crust from the top wrack that we knew the glove less guy hadn't touched. Thank goodness!!! I will say, it was nice to see all the employees had their hair wrapped up behind their ball caps or scarf on. The last time we were there many had flowing pony tails.

We have enjoyed our pizza in the past but are now concerned with what we don't see. When handling food, glove up! Wash hand before gloving up!! That is why there is a hand washing sink and a box of gloves in the food...
