EZPAWN — Local services in Grapevine

I been going to your store number 01287 on northwest highway in Grapevine for years even before it changed owners. I have never been treated so rudely by your staff ever on this morning on 12/14 at about 9:20 am, I want to pawn a purse that had been before, I first asked her if I sold it how much she look something up and came back and said 55.00 it is a Marc Jacobs blue camera purse that has been in before, but under my husband name, so I could not believe the low price, so my husband gave his id so we could pawn it, still stunned by that price I said it was a 325.00 purse out loud she corrected me stating it's 200.00 that more then 55.00, so she runs to back office speaks with an older white man, and comes back I thought you wanted to sell, I tell her not for price you offer, just pawn got for 120.00 before on it, she promptly saids that can go down too, I just look at her and grab a business card off counter, she runs to the back again and tells white man she just keeps talking out loud, I inform him I have not said a word to her, he preceded to inform us there nothing they can do for us, basically putting us out the store, felt very racist. These new people in this store are the worst. Those 2 anyway, I have spent a lot of money there, never again. Find different store to visit my sister...

Really good shop , they have good stuff, fair prices , and they will be straight up with you and tell you what they can do for your item if you are selling or pawning it. They are good people who do a good job finding balance in giving fair prices and staying profitable so they can continue to keep the store running.

Another thing I really like is they will call you or text you when your item is going to be due if you pawn it , other shops will not call you and hope you miss the payment , so it’s really nice seeing them work with you and not just count you off like you’re just another number, they seem to actually understand we are just people going through a rough time and don’t want to lose our item .

Nice small local pawn shop , higher quality items , fair prices , good employees who are helpful and genuinely want to help people out. This is not a low end shop with junk , this is somewhere that takes pride in the items they...

My wife and I really never went to pawn shops in the past. One day in 2022 we passed First Texas Pawn in Grapevine, and I told her we should stop in "real quick" on the way back through, and she agreed. The store was clean, well lit, and neatly arranged, and we could see that from outside! Our "short" stop lasted more than an hour, as Mike was really friendly and helpful in educating us about pawn shops. He answered all of our questions, which made us feel like we could safely come back and do more business. We don't live close to the store, but when we're in the area, we make it a point to stop in to see what new and cool stuff might be there. This is the only pawn shop we go to, and it's all because Mike is great at what he does, and he takes the necessary time to help and/or educate customers! We highly recommend...
