
What a privilege and an experience to work with such an above and beyond team at Lexus of Akron-Canton! For 10 years I was driving my car and knew that it was about time to upgrade and choose a vehicle that suits me. I have an auto mechanic I normally would have to visit and asked him some car companies that he recommends. Without hesitation, he immediately told me Lexus and a few others, but what stood out to me from his words were dependability, reliability, and class. My wife works with the Cleveland Guardians and she told me about meeting the general manager Pete at an event she was hosting. I reached out to him and I can tell there was a genuine sincerity and interest in me immediately as a potential customer and told me to come down and see their line of vehicles. I met with Pete and he couldn’t have been more professional and helpful with the choices and directed me to some choices for me to see. He then introduced me to his sales woman Kristen Barrett and immediately we connected from her bubbly and outgoing personality! When we discussed all the options, Kristen was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun to work with! I was introduced to some models but the one I truly fell for was the Lexus rx500h fsport. I was able to drive a model and knew right away that this is the car for me. After meeting them, I knew I had to look at other options out there just to make sure I wanted to get the right car for me. After going to other dealerships, there was no other dealership that I worked with that made me as welcome and excited as I was with Lexus of Akron-Canton. I reached out to Kristen and decided to follow my gut and my heart and decided to go with the Lexus rx500 fsport. When I ordered it, there was ~1 month to wait to get the car. During that period, Kristen was always available to answer any questions I had with nothing but positive answers and reassurance! When I arrived today to pick up my car, they literally rolled out the red carpet for me. They immediately welcomed me and had the whole team at Lexus walk me to my car with no joke a red ribbon and a sheet covering the car to await the big reveal! When they pulled the sheet away, the immediate thought was I made the absolute right choice! I was then given very detailed instructions with the new technology by Drew, who was very thorough and knowledgeable about the vehicle. He also assured me that of all the cars to choose from Lexus, that this was his first choice which reaffirmed my choice. When I drove it home tonight, I felt nothing but an amazing feeling inside. I had a frustrating encounter with another Lexus dealership in another state that told me it would take six to eight months to get the NX 350h, the car I had my heart set on. I was feeling discouraged. Not only that, but the other dealership tried to pressure me into settling for a sedan instead of the specific car I had my heart set on.
But then I walked into Lexus of Akron Canton, and everything changed for the better. From the moment I stepped in, I was met with professionalism, courtesy, and a genuine understanding of what I was looking for. The staff at this dealership went above and beyond to ensure I got the exact car I wanted, a Nori Green NX 350h with a Palomino interior. They promised me that I would have the car I wanted. They were able to find my car within only a day!
The experience was marked by clear communication and transparency. They kept me informed every step of the way, from ordering the car to tracking its progress. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to secure the car I wanted without any pressure to settle for something less. They respected my preferences and never pushed me to make a decision I wasn't comfortable with.

Read moreThese guys have no idea what they are doing. Went in because my lights came on in my car. Asked them to take a look at my left rear brake because it stopped working and I had tried some various things to get it to work. Told them that I think it needs flushed and maybe the sensor cleaned. Didn't hear a single word I said, and told me that the VSC and ABS module needed replaced and it would cost $2600. They also said my right rear brake was not functioning well... That would cost an extra $1800 to fix. Took it to my vendor and they replaced both brakes and calipers for $500. Not only did they not listen to the complaints I had, but also didn't fix the problem I asked about in the first place. Glad I didn't throw my money in and just see what happened. Who knows how much more I would have been swindled. When asked again how my experience was, I told them how I felt. They promptly got back to me and said "it looks like they did quite a bit of work on your car actually". Just to top everything off, I had to ask my wife to drive me home where we live an hour away because they had no loaner cars available. Luxury brand with luxury prices... absolutely garbage service. Will never buy from them ever again.
Update 6/20: Got a call about a month ago from the customer service and they said that there was nothing more they would do. So I decided to take my car to one more place to get it fixed. So I took the car to Toyota, and wouldn't you know it, all they did was reset the "broken" ABS system, and voila! Everything fixed, the brake now works, spent less than $100. It's amazing what happens when the service representative LISTENS to the complaint instead of trying to get every possible dollar out of your pocket and instead of investigating the problem, just "replace" the entire system that didn't need replaced. What happened to good technicians who would at least listen to your complaint and address the issue asked. Just confirms my suspicion that Lexus will literally do anything and everything to get every last penny from you. Especially this place where listening does not appear to be an asset at all. Glad their "diagnostic" fee at Lexus was well worth the time and effort. I would run as far away from this place as possible. Your money deserves to be spent at a place with competence, not...
